confusing. My understanding is for FBAR, if you have money in Business ( LLC) bank account that is Outside of US and has more than $10,000 dollars, you would file fbar But what if you have lets say $200,000 dollars in US bank account, you also have to file fbar? i watched your video multiple times
Thank you for the information. An ecommerce plataform is not allowing me to just be a nonresident alien sole owned of a U.S. LLC, they insit on one of these options: s or c corporation or a partneshi. What should I do?
Thank you! If to open an single member LLC in New Mexico for non resident. Selling for example supplements that are made in the United States.Selling on Amazon,Walmart,Personal website and Retails as well, without having any employe in the United States... what taxes should i pay?
Congrats for the video. I'm not a US citizen or resident. If i own a non-US-company who owns 100% of a single-owner-US-LLC and this american company buy and hold stocks and then periodically receive DIVIDENDS from these shares, WILL THE COMPANY BE TAXED IN THE US?
Hey Alex, regarding the myth number 8, So my tax consultant filed for myself a 1040-NR and I did not know that we had to file 1120 and 5472, I asked him why he did not he said that it is for corporations only, Your tax classification is not as a US Corporation so it is not required and if I do that my tax classification will be US Corporation and ill have to pay flat 21% taxes. But you are saying that even if you are not classified as US corporation than still you should file 1120 and 5472, is that correct?
Thank you, Alex. Very informative videos. You know your stuff!! One thing I would like to understand better is if a foreign owner of a SMLLC is selling digital wall art through Shopify or Etsy that gets printed and shipped through a 3rd party service in the U.S. does that count as Effectively Connected Income and is taxable in the U.S.? I am german living in Turkiye
What should the person do if he missed filing his first year's (2019) 1120 and 5472 forms as an SMLLC DE because he thought that there was no profit, he was wrong but already filed for the next years? Should he call the IRS or should he book a call with you? Can you help him with this? Thanks for your effort on your videos🙏, we can't explain how valuable they are.
Great question, I have addressed your specific scenario in the video below ua-cam.com/video/bj8Y55wWgRA/v-deo.html Few months ago, the IRS provided amnesty for 2019 and 2020 filing, but that’s all late now since the deadline was September 30, 2022. ua-cam.com/video/_AN8SQCzpG0/v-deo.html
