@dfmrh12345 I'm the biggest honda fan lol. My first car was a 2001 honda accord coupe 5 speed. I now own a 2012 accord v6 6 speed accord coupe with only 38,000 miles. I'll get a type R some day
After they get done with you at dealership it's still going to be right at $50,000. It's $50,000 cost now so it will be almost $60,000 after dealership write ups
Well I just went into a dealer in Oregon a day ago and was looking at a 2024 Type R, used with 1900 miles, they marked it up to $52,995. For a civic. Think about what cars you can buy for that, new or used!
It doesn't even come with parking assist, so you better be careful how you park without scrapping or breaking something. Also when I shift sometimes its not smooth all the time, a bit clunky not sure why.
Great fun walk and drive around ! Just picked up a Sonic grey pearl and absolutely love this car . I previously had a 22 BMW M240i and all around I like this one much more and that says a lot 👍🏻👊🏻
I just put $500 down the hold the one in Ponca City Oklahoma. I’m going down first thing in the morning 9 AM. I’m in Wichita Kansas. March 14, 2020 I’m buying one tomorrow at 9 AM with 1 mile on it I can’t wait I can’t wait did you know what I can’t wait in my mind I’m already their cant wait for tomorrow morning. I can get one here in Wichita but it’s a two month wait I don’t wanna wait two months I want it now. $5000 over MSRP at $46,700 It’s white I’d rather have black, but I don’t wanna wait 2 months for if to arrive
Doorpanel is special horizontal line by door handles lights up with red lines at night, headlight highbeam auto dims, the cars self driving capabilities are also better, you can see other cars on your dash in the lines next to you. With auto rev match, cars Clutch will probably last longer. According to my gauge cluster I get better mpg? It like encourages you to put in R mode lol. . . I found a ring scratch infront of my nose on windshield 5 inches long so dealer has my car again. Missing my car already. It had a 10k addendum in Extras, after 7 year 100,000 mile warranty I picked it up for 63,000, that was with a 2.5k trade-in. Did I mention John Cena Daily drove a 2020 version? Another key note is the rarity, getting you money back won't be a problem after you take care of it and enjoy it! GOD BLESS YALL CHRIS
Paying markup ruins the car enthusiast community. Sooner or later they wont make the Type-R and they will say "It didnt sell well"...well yeah, Thanks to Stealerships selling them at markup they will not sell well 🤦
Having the car to auto rev it when down shifting makes me want to learn how to drive a manual and drive a type R and I think every manual trans car should come standard with auto rev downshifting
I really want this car, but I just cant do it myself man. i don't want to be paying a monthly payment. I plan on getting a 9th gen civic si and supercharging it. Costs way less for even more power then the r.
The car is a combination of things that can on be had on the Si. “Supercharging” an Si will merely allow you to compete with it in the straight line. The widebody from factory allows ease of accommodating for wider wheels without issue. Various drive modes/dampening modes, the seats, and brembos are all high ticket items. Also the guy that can afford it can also modify it too. So thats a mute case really on your end.
@@BentoRunner My guy I never said the si was better then the type r, just super charging is giving same amount of power or more for way less money. relax i know you got an R 🤣🤣
Definitely not worth 50k+ the ride is super bouncy on comfort mode. Not enough leg room. At most this car should've been in the low 40s price point. Not as comfortable.. I see why Integras aren't really selling 😂
At 1:27 - BMW Z4/Supra, Mustang, Miata, Boxter, 911, Elantra N, BMW M2, Toyobaru Twins, Bronco, Wrangler, Mazda 3, GR Yaris, Lotus Emira, Cadi CT4/5 V Blackwing, WRX, plus MANY more have manuals.
I cannot help but think that with the way the front emblem overlaps both the grill and the hood….it looks like a nose. Specifically a clown nose or like rudolph
It's much better looking than the previous generation for sure.
idk about that
you mean y ou dont want to drive a gaming PC on wheels with extra fan vents?
i hate the more muted/european look of the new type r. i liked the more japanese style of the fk8.
Fk8 looks wayyyy better, more sick super car look. Fl5 looks plain
Idk about 50k for a Honda civic 👀👀👀
Yep
Psh you tripping for all the stuff it comes with and safety features and all that jazz…
It's better then a bmw

Too bad the damn dealers rip you off with a $10K PREMIUM ADD ON
So 60k for a civic?
@@A1TOR Type R yes

@@dannydevito3259 Thats nuts, at least you can drive it to Jersey Mikes 🤣
Tax title and fees it’s more like 70k and even though it’s in a manual I would so much rather have a 18-22 cts v and by a lot
I got to drive one of these today and I'm actually pretty impressed with them
would you cop one? im thinking about yoloing it
See them for 46k now and it doesn't look horrible now
Just saw one today for 46k
Looks cool af, I love the back but 50k for just 300hp? Not even AWD ...
Hey man, I love your content and understand your ur loosing money in it, but I’m here to support you ❤
Cheers man
@@ProfessorDrives Looks like fun! Wish I could enjoy it with you!
I like this car but I don’t know people so hyped about type R written everywhere.
IMO, for a drivers car, it's rwd, awd,and FWD. But that's just me
aye bro, keep doing what you do man. ignore the haters i love your content, and you should definitely make this a full time! i love it man. stay safe
Ty so much

That's Nissan Silvia made by Honda. Let's see how the next civic design
Too Expensive, period. I drove one and it was nice but no way I would pay $55K plus tax and license.

Try shifting, when you have cups in the cup holder! Honda could have designed the front cup holders differently.

Too expensive
Let us know it's worth it when the valve cover starts leaking oil because I'm pretty sure they haven't addressed that issue yet !!
You look both 50 and 17 🤔
50k WAAAAY TO HIGH!
The 3 tipped exhaust looks comical.
Why would you put the wrong price on your thumbnail? MSRP is 44k
46k now 😢
Great Car, this car should be $25,000 NEW.
A 2001 integra type r MSRP was 24450 lol it's 2024 buddy adjust for inflation it would really be around 43k
That is the price on the base 2024 civic sedans with a CVTs and hub caps.
