I have a question is there a real difference between ا and ء? Because they sound exactly the same to me like if I say الحمد with saying the alif with my mouth instead of saying it like ءل because I think I am supposed to say it with ء but it's written ا in the Qur'an but I really can't tell if there is a difference in sound apart from one comes from the bottom of the throat and one comes from the emptiness of the mouth Jasakallah
I'll tell you : There is 1. *Alif* ا it is called *Alif* if it was in the middle or end of the word like عامر Amer or عصا Asa 2. *Hamzat Qat3* أ it is called *Hamzat Qat3* if it was in the beginning of the word like أحمد Ahmad 3. *Hamzat Wasl* ا it's only Known in 10 names like : ال" التعريف" meaning *the* and اسم ، ابن ، ابنة ، اثنان ، اثنتان ، امرؤ ، امرأة. But both Hamzats has the same pronounce.
@@واحدمنالناس-ث4ز oh ok jasakallah My confusion is when I say ء from the bottom of my throat it sounds exactly the same as when I say ا so if I just say the ا or alif for everything even if it comes infront of the word would it sound weird to someone who's Arbic
@@_abc_ it sounds same because they both are *Hamzah* even if each one was "ء" or "أ". But *Alif* "ا" could never come infront of the word because it's a vowel sound couldn't be started with.
Hey, I also have a little question about pronouns and I've searched in the internet for hours, but couldn't find the answer. In one chapter of my Arabic language course there's the question "وهل تعرفين أيضا ما هو رقم هاتفي؟" and I don't know why I'm supposed to use the pronoun "هو" . The dialog is between two women.
The use of a detached pronoun such as هُوَ after the interrogative particles مَا (what), مَنْ (who) and أَيْنَ (where) is a common error. The detached pronoun serves no purpose and is not required. In your example, it would be more correct grammatically to say simply, وهل تعرفين أيضا ما رقم هاتفي؟
Hello Dr Alawiye, I don't understand why sometimes you don't pronounce the last syllable like for example: who are those boys ? you didn't pronounce the "dou" of boys : "awlad" instead of "awladou". thank you
