  • Tonight we're going on something of an adventure - taking off from Beckett Farm, visiting White Sands, and then heading over towards Socorro and then Roswell - scouting out the famous landing and crash sites along the way. The truth is out there!
    Should be fun!

Very interesting flight. I enjoyed the stories and have watched the same interviews. I can’t imagine why the government still won’t release whatever they have.

Your flight today reminds me of a good video on youtube called density altitude with Harry Bliss. It was made in the 1960's. It explained the effects of flying out of different airfields that are at higher elevations on high temperatures days. It featured a v tailed bonanaza flying across the southwest and Colorado areas

Funny that my brain saw an alien face in the debris field. 1:42:16 above the wing tip…

The Space Shuttle has landed at White Sands a couple times. The actual White Sands base is a little more west at the base of a mountain just north east of Las Cruces,Nm. Driven through there many times. As far as the scenery "glitch" maybe its because the Pentagon wouldnt let Microsoft fully render it. 😂
In Market Place there is a full accurate modeled Spaceport America airfield. Its done by UK 2000. You will need the UK 2000 library scenery first, which is free. Its nicely done..

I have flown the v35 for several years. The autopilot including altitude has always worked for me. I do not wait until I am almost at the altitude to turn it on and set it.

I'm not saying it doesn't work - it just doesn't work as it should :) It works better in the black square aircraft.

    Love the UFO theme....
Any good sceneries available to enhance these areas?

It’s not a scenery fault. It’s intentionally vague. I’m willing to bet there aren’t a lot of satellite photos publicly allowed for that area.
