My El Primero Chronomaster Open T is one of the best looking avantgarde models from that contriverisial period of Zenith history...It looks more like a time machine than a wristwatch! Yes I agree that the built quality was over the top also! 👍🏻
This is the second or third Nataf Zenith I like, the thought is almost too disturbing to comprehend. Could he not have been as bad as I previously thought? That's one of the nicest dials I've seen. I love a date magnifier that does not stick out on the crystal. I love the sub seconds dial and even the power reserve. The applied indicies and numbers are top notch. Also with the broad hands I love the fact that the hands are open so you can see the dial between the hands. The bracelet and clasp are built like a tank. If you want something different this fits the bill nicely. A comment I never thought I'd make - "Well done Thierry Nataf!!"
LONG LIVE NATAF and DUFOUR..the man who had the vision to make Zenith a rival for JLC.. unlike the current Zenith leadership, who want Zenith to be positioned in between Hublot and Tag.
I've once found one of those in a McDonalds Kids Menu. Thrown it away, it was just too ugly to spoil my car with it. Thank God the brand (again) is adequately positioned on the market today. But still a very good presentation (of an unworthy watch), thanks.
I actually like the Nataf era Zenith, these watches were high quality and built like tanks and can be had for a bargain at today's prices.

Love the dial and love the color and finish. Zenith 👍

You are so talented Tim, you should sell Automobiles you would do well!

Isn't that Elite movement thin and fragile to be in a rugged watch? Elite is usually in dress watches which are thin.
Nice watch🙂
Very nice 👍
