Great vibes from 2 excellent Caribbean artists. I sensed some unease when the “Red” man references were made during the interview. Surely, Shaggy have had to deal with colorism issue and how his artistry was processed in Jamaica. I noticed he tried to deflect with the “Brown man” response. Some folks, to this day, claim that Bob Marley was favored over Peter and Bunny mainly because of “light” skin tone mostly.
