- So I decided to post this scene alone cause it is my favorite one from Fallout! I’ll be posting an Ilsa/Ethan scenepack soon. Enjoy :)
Rebecca Ferguson is such a great actress. I get goosebumps every time I see her. She is so perfect for the part. She is incredibly beautiful to boot. Love her accent also.
She has no business lookin that gorgeous while having ferocious combat skills 😭. Her character development in Rogue Nation is just too damn good.
The way he instantly reaches out to touch her when asking if she’s okay. He does it in their last scene too… Ethan’s all hardcore but with her he becomes this big ball of mush 🥺❤️

What ever plot they prepare for the upcoming Mission Impossible-7 and 8 , I just hope Ilsa Faust not be killed off
They are building her to be Ethans wife
after Julia Ethan knows the only wife he will be able to keep with him is someone in the same profession

Totally love that scene.. the nuances in the facial expressions are just superb and the soundtrack goes beyond perfection. Just fabulous.
I love that he knows her so well that he can deduce what’s going on just by the look on her face and the tilt of her head.
Although she’s a side character, her motivations and mission are those of a main character, and that’s why she feels like Ethan’s equal. She doesn’t get pulled into his orbit, she has her own story and it happens to overlap with his. If I watched this scene without context I could’ve believed that this movie was about Ilsa and that Ethan was her love interest.
Ilsa speaks volumes with her eyes. She's terrific for the MI Series...

Ilsa was my favourite character. i feel like this franchise can't really exist without her anymore. Not now that her and Ethan were starting to make it work out. Idk, the New character, Grace, wasn't bad, but Ilsa has become irreplaceable

I just rewatched the movie on prime video and DAMN, it hits so hard the second time. Ilsa's death is something i'll never bear with. I actually like Grace's chemistry with Ethan, but i kinda feel disapointed at some point after Ilsa's death, it doesn't let me pay atenttion to the rest of the movie.
Well the movies and the actress wanted it to be platonic sadly
This is genuinely my favourite scene in the entire film
Apart from the romance aspect, this is one of the deepest scenes in the franchise, with the light touch of the grim reality of being an agent, playing off Mission Impossible III's lead, which was arguably one of the darkest ones: you could say it started the ball rolling on realizing he can never have a normal life and turning into a superhero spy by Ghost Protocol and onward.
they surely have incredible chemistry, it is palpable during MI 5 and even more intensive in MI 6
It’s impressive how Tom Cruise still has romantic chemistry at 55

Is the name of the score playing in this scene. Lorne Balfe did a phenomenal job with the soundtrack.
This piece in particular is my favorite out the whole film. It perfectly demonstrates the weight and tragedy behind his decision to take on another mission.
It's called "We Are Never Free". It s a bit different to "Should you choose to accept"
For me the best part is that moment @1:04 where she glaces down, and you just know she is thinking, "You are behind me, aren't you?"

I would prefer that they both continue to live and start a family, but if disaster has to strike then I prefer that Ethan would go because he is the main hero and if it really has to be the same fate as James Bond; Don't let ilsa die and preferably not Ethan either

One of my favorite scenes throughout the whole series. A lot of non-verbal communication. Their facial expressions and eyes say way more than they actually tell. Great performance. Soul-penetrating score. Very emotional.
The most ingenious and endearing aspect of MI:5 & 6 - The building of friendship, mutual respect and trust, and eventual affection between these two characters, who were by design originally destined to only clash and destroy each other.

@@abhigyangaming9253 by being agents of different/opposing government agencies, they are by all means made to destroy each other since they’re only supposed to look out for their Agency’s interests.
First thing Ethan does is asking whether she's okay or not, they are best together!
Can’t believe she just dead without any previous signals. I can’t accept it, no way you barred a classic main character in such way without any explanation. The only thing I choose to believe is she falsely dead so she can work behind Ethan or walk away from this.
How it played out leaves a bad taste in my mouth. The only way McQuarrie can rectify this by undoing it in the second part.

I love Ilsa and Ethan together so naturally I'm a little nervous about what part Hayley Atwell's character plays in the last two movies. Hopefully she isn't a new love interest.

I like how Ethan hunt doesn't have any time for love and romance unlike James bond.
Putting a pregnant woman on a train is anything but romantic, as James did with Madeleine. Ethan has less time for love and romance than OO7, but will be a better husband and father to Ilsa and their child(ren) than James.

: to be honest: James should have known better than to immediately suspect Madeleine of betrayal and trust her,then he would have known about her pregnancy. But the betrayal of Vesper at the time has seriously damaged his trust in women and Madeleine is not made to trust people because of her past either. I hope Ethan and Ilsa can do that better,trust each other and also better parents should a child of theirs come up in the movies.

Rebecca Ferguson is the best part of these films and what interested me to watch them so I'm so happy she will be in the next two. I also really love this pairing❤ Probably my favourite ever at least when it comes to action film franchises. Hope they will be endgame🙏🏻🙏🏻

btw, this is how one empowers women in movies...
not by changing the script or the movie as a whole(cough....like making someone named Rey all powerful but whom will never be surnamed as Skywalker by the fans as a consequence), but by making the female character challenge the protagonist/antagonist whether it's male of female, and if necessary, by making her follow what she promised or at least as close to as what she claimed, regardless of the consequences to other characters, be it male or female.....

It’s a shame what they did to her after all this character development. Can’t believe McQ and Tom messed up this badly.
I’m still not over it. This whole scene is undone by the events of MI7. I’ll never be able to watch it or the triumphant climax of MI5 without them feeling tainted now.
If it’s not a fakeout, then it’s probably one of the worst things this series has ever done. Everything about what happened is so illogical and forced that I can’t believe that the same guy that wrote rogue and fallout wrote dead reckoning. Yeah, I’m gonna feel blindsided about this for a while lmao
