    Thank you for this! I intend to pursue my PhD there in a couple of years. So happy to learn the tuition fee is now affordable. Also, knowing there are scholarships available, I'm pretty excited!

    Hi studying in Japan as well. Though I am doing my PhD. If you will be living in countryside like me it’s actually sometimes cheaper than living in Manila. I just spend 30-35k Php a month this already including food, transpo, dorm and utilities.

      Thanks so much for sharing! I agree, living in the countryside is often cheaper although depending on where it is I hear local transportation can be a bit limited :)

      @@heidisarol yeah the transpo here is inconvenient since bus comes like once an hour only. The dorm is bit far away from my Uni as well so walking is not doable.

      Hi! Thank you so much for your comment. As for Japanese proficiency level, JLPT N2 is recommended but N1 is even better.
