How to set up a WEBCAM on Xbox Series S|X for STREAMING

- In this short video, I'll guide you through the process of getting your webcam to work on an Xbox Series S or X. To begin, make sure you have a 1080p webcam with either a YUY2 or NV12 format, as these are the formats compatible with Xbox streaming. Most Logitech and Microsoft LifeCam webcams have these formats, but if you're unsure about your webcam's format, it's a good idea to check with the manufacturer.
For the best experience and compatibility, we recommend using one of the following webcams according to Xboxs website.

Does anyone have any idea how to turn on the microphone option on the Live streaming drop down menu? My camera works perfectly fine, just bought a C920S but the mic option doesn’t allow me to turn it on? Not sure if it’s a console setting or I need to download something else on a desktop/laptop

My main issue is it changes my default microphone to the camera and then i cant talk using my headset

Here’s a funny story, so I got a Logitech camera and hooked it up like you said and went through all the steps so I look on my twitch screen and no pic of me on camera so I kick off my shoes n socks, take off my t-shirt just chilling thinking camera don’t work. So I turn on my twitch dash and what do I see ? My half naked barefoot 🦶 lol I don’t know how to make it work every time. 😂

@@autumn9888 mine works fine. Make sure you start a game before testing it as it will not show in the preview. Hope this helps👍🏻

im goimng through the same, about to just use it for a paperweight, I never had this problem with PS using my camera with UA-cam.
I also had Logitech but different appearance and it does not Work. It lights up,i toggle it on but when i test it,no appearing. Looks like its one of the ones that does not work on Series S

It doesn't matter, this is falsified. It's been proven by other streamers that no cameras work on your Xbox, no matter what you get, even if you specifically buy the only 2 most expensive cameras that xbox tells you to buy. They still do not work
