Thank you for sharing this! Your ESH is beautiful and I really resonated with that simple explanation of step 6 and how working it can shift your life. I found step 4 to be quite easy because I'm so self critical and can find a million things I should work on to make myself better and have been stuck on step 6 for a couple years. It's just recently started to make sense to me that I haven't had the willingness to allow higher power to remove the defects. These days I am WILLING and READY. Take them away plsss 😅

Willingness is established in steps 1-3 step 6 is the final step of knowledge that gives us ability to gain the power (7-9) to maintain and do the 12th step

@@chelsea_cora if UA-cam pays you based on number of views and it's AA literature you are using and speaking of , tradition 7 is every AA group ought to be fully self supporting decline outside contributions , but are UA-camrs profiting from this material that helps others

I like your explanation and I am on step 7 right now. I mentioned drop the rock to my sponsor and he claims that this book is not AA approved. It is Hazelton and he does not endorse anything outside of the big book. Or a a approved literature. This step certainly seems daunting to me however the keyword you used and my sponsor uses is Willingness. And each Day is a new opportunity to be better than I was yesterday. Thank god for this program and god bless you

Hello you can find defects of characters listed in the 12 and 12 in the fourth step. The 12 and 12 goes into a lot of details about our instincts and how we misuse them. This can be found in step 6.
what about the tradition of Anonymity?
Why do we have to ruin everything.
It's one thing to create more access to literature and other resources.
But coaching on UA-cam and making money off it?
Goes against the traditions that have kept the fellowship alive and well for so long.
at least don't include the fellowship name.
So that it will be so as "the name never be drawn into public controversy". Which bringing interpretations to Media is a main way we are taught to not do, so as to sustain the fellowship for generations to come.
And be truly inclusive in the bigger picture, long-term.
As individuals we are not wise enough to Take matters into our own hands.
This is why the 12 traditions exist.To make it easy to not ruin things.
Content like this makes it more likely for people to skip getting a sponsor too.
Which is a necessary thing.
"The only wrong way to do the steps is on your own". Which you're teaching ppl how to do it on your own, so you probably did it on your own too?
Just such a big yikes. Get a sponsor people. Otherwise you're denying yourself the biggest gift of the program.
And you're doing it running on self-will. Which defeats the whole point...
@@veronikavanquish Hello there and thank you for your comment! I did go through the 12 steps with a sponsor, which took over year, but have never gone through the 12 traditions with a sponsor. So, you’re probably right on some points BUT this video is not monetized (I guess only UA-cam is getting paid from the ads) NOR do I condone going through the steps without a sponsor. This was simply me wanting to share some of my experience, strength, and hope a few years back (during the era of social distancing). I no longer make 12-step videos but the ones I did make helped a lot of people. Wishing you a blessed day 🙏
