I really like it when they said they advocated for that nude scene and how they didn't even hear their director say Cut, it shows how committed and passionate they are about the series and the role they played, I love this two actors because of this and have officially joined their fan base.
I admire their chemistry but before saying that, I am amazed how they are smart and brilliant! They know how to speak up and express their opinion in straight way. Preach guys. Beautifully done!
J’ai jamais été aussi touchés par 2 personnages à ce point là. Grâce à eux, j’ai réussi à annoncé à ma mère que j’étais bisexuelle. C’est grâce au personnage de Luca que j’ai compris qu’on pouvait s’en battre les couilles des avis des autres. Leur histoire est tellement belle que j’ai envie de vivre ce qu’ils vivent avec une fille. Je n’imaginais pas à quel point une série pouvait avoir un impact sur ma vie. Merci à eux pour leur performance ainsi que leur manière de pensé, ils sont super ouvert d’esprit et c’est ça qu’il faut en 2019

je ne suis pas d'accord, un acteur doit être capable d'endosser tous les rôles possibles et imaginables, même s'ils sont éloignés de sa réalité, sinon, c'est qu'il est mauvais. et je ne suis pas non plus d'accord sur le fait "d'applaudir" un acteur hétéro parce qu'il a embrassé un homme parce qu'il est "ouvert d'esprit" soit disant. même si ça facilite les choses, on peut imaginer qu'un acteur hétéro joue un personnage homo, sans forcément être ouvert d'esprit (même si je suis pas sure que ça ait déjà existé), car lorsqu'il est dans la peau de son personnage, le vrai lui et ses opinions ne doivent pas venir interférer

Honestly, when I saw their love making scene, I thought Axel and Maxence were so beautiful together. They made it to express really well like what they wanted to show as they said in this interview. They are so amazingly thoughtful and talented guys. At the same time, I'm totally agree with them. Je pense que il y a quand même des acteurs qui ont du refuser de faire quoique ce soit avec un homme et c'est ça qui je pense est le plus triste : peut être qu'ils ont peur qu'en réalisant un film où ils embrassent une personne du même sexe, cela ait des retombées, que tout le monde lui colle une image qui n'est pas forcément celle qui lui convient. Moi surtout ce que je trouve stupide dans l'idée qu'un hetero ne puisse pas jouer un gay, c'est que le principe même d'être acteur c'est de jouer un rôle. Certain couple dans les séries/films se déteste dans la vrai vie, et ça pose pas de problème, puisque de toute façon c'est un rôle qu'ils jouent, ils sont pas payés pour être eux mêmes. Je vois pas pourquoi ça dérange du coup, on a pas besoin d'être attiré réellement par la personne si on est bon acteur
C'est une série que j'ai regardé uniquement pour cette saison 3. Et j'ai trouvé ça sublime, c'est une très belle histoire, et c'est assez réaliste. Et vous avez entièrement raison pour en revenir à l'interview.

M: The first question I was asked when I came for the casting of SKAM was « do you mind kissing a boy? » And I find it sad that in 2019 this is the first question we ask…
A: It’s like when we do some castings to play football, we’re not asked « do you mind playing football? » No, at some point, no! People identify a lot to SKAM, it’s a place of total freedom where we can talk about what happens in real life, during the adolescence, without feeling judged. Reality is that sometimes we come out and it doesn’t go like we’d like it to, it can be parents, it can be friends, it can be work. It’s important to show that today society sometimes reacts like a jerk, and some people give themselves the right to say that just because we have a sexuality that’s one way, that makes us different. There really are assholes that don’t realise! That don’t realise that it can hurt people and it can take years to heal. People tend to overlook that, they tend to downplay that, to say « yeah it’ll go away ». But today there are still people that kill themselves and that’s important to talk about. It’s something that needs to be talked about! We usually don’t talk about it the right way but we do it well on SKAM! Same goes for sexual harassment! Same goes for nude pics! It’s the same for all topics, racism, sexism, homophobia… We have to denounce it when it happens!
M: And we have to protect ourselves about that, we have to talk about it! It happened to me while modelling. It didn’t happen to me in cinema, it happened to me with photographers that are going to tell you « yeah but here, take it down a little so we can see your abs » and « can’t you just take your pants off ? » But the rare times it happened to me, I had the right instinct to talk about it. But it’s true that it becomes complicated I think when it’s with big directors. When you have big dreams, it gives them a means of pressure, it becomes very easy to manipulate
