I like how the Royal Enfield motorcycles have a timeless design with just enough tech to improve the ride experience. This is probably their best motorcycle to date.
Love the bike. Perfect! Only slight/big problem is I'm 1m73 (about 5'8'') and I hate not having my feet flat on the ground (or at least almost flat). Guess I'll opt for the Interceptor... Or maybe some platform shoes will do the deal for the Bear! :)
It is 36 degrees Celsius today in Australia. I have to wear a mesh jacket because of the heat. I own a Royal Enfield Continental GT650 in Rocker Red. I like red bikes, they after faster!
Well, you have made my mind up. Around the end of March this year, I am going to buy a black 650 Royal Enfield BEAR. I loved this vlog because I have watched a few vlogs about the Bear 650 and like all your vlogs they are spot on no bull poo and entertaining to watch. So a big thank you for helping me make my mind up. CHEER'S Matt From Hastings Sussex.
Watcha Chris let me know when you have got yer bear as I live at 5 Sandown rd ore village would you visit me so that I can have a look and mabey sit on it for size I had a bad road traffic accident ten years ago with damage to my right pelvis and hip and I don't have much movement in my right foot so if you could visit I would be really grateful. The last bike that I owned was a 1200 Suzuki Bandit so I thought a BEAR would be a good choice being smaller and a lot lighter and also they look the mutts nutts. CHEER'S MATT F @@chrisperrott5457
Enjoyed this honest video. I am waiting on my local RE dealer based in Tadcaster to receive this model. With my 6'3 height including long legs and arms I am hoping that this 60 year old sod will suit this beautiful motorcycle. keep up the good work young lady.
Hey I'm coming back to motorcycling with a nostalgic mindset (last 18 months buying new gear and lots of tests) but interestingly settled on shotgun....such big happy smiles on this bike, also love Himi 450 for utility fun....but a big but the Bear could be even better I have 81.5cm (32") inside leg @ 6ft...so sit up and beg, wide bars and better geometry could be perfect...just need a test ride...we'll see in the coming weeks.... lovely light review....see you out there 🙏😊
It's always fun listening to the excitement you have, when riding a bike that you enjoy Deimante. I really should get heated gloves for driving when it's below zero here ... Take care and keep your paw's warm.
I resonate with your feeling when you started the bike and in the very 1st minute you fell in love with. Having owned it for 2 months now, it's just a beautiful bike and I surprisingly love the height and the long handle bar position. RE please fix the suspension.
My other half is looking into getting a motorcycle and doing the driving tests. I am just checking out videos to get a vibe, I know how dangerous a motorcycle can be.
Hi, love you review. About the colors, you are like the Batman, only use black or a very, very dark gray or blue. 😂😂 Now, about the weather, I live in a very hot country, Brazil. We have some places cold on the south, but usually very hot. Considering that's not raining, here I like to ride on the winter, we put some clothes and it's OK, now, on the hotests months it's impossible put the jacket, gloves etc... we leave a ride for another day. It's so bad as your hard winter. Greateness from Brazil and very good 2025.
Excellent review, I love the close up to the black/gray/gold bear, that's the motorcycle I'm leaning to. Are those gloves that you are using heated by an external battery or what are the led's showing on top of them? Also do you have a link to the heated grips for the Bear 650?
Hi , thinking about maybe doing the "ride out' - I see that you have to sort flights/ transfers out yourself - have you got something sorted ? are you local to Cooperb ? I am , (Northampton ) so maybe the same flight would suit me too...(have found only one so far ,from Birmingham to Tivat that would work...)
Yes a nice bike, I like it too, especially in that grey/white/black version. But at £8700 RRP (in CH) it's too expensive to put in my garage as a 2nd or 3rd bike, especially as my car is wanting a lot of attention before it's next MoT. So, it looks like you're gonna have to do my Bear riding for me!
I wanted one but sat on one the other day and the forward reach is painful for my back, would need much taller bars with more sweep so sadly a no from me, will stick to my GS for now until I try a few more bikes.
Was going to buy an Interceptor until I saw the Bear. Went to the dealer and sat on the Bear. The rear suspension felt very, very stiff. Have watched a few review videos and none said much about the suspension. From the looks of the video it was a pretty harsh ride. May be going back to the Interceptor.
As a potential buyer for this bike would like to ask you about your opinions on the rear shocks ? Are they doing fhe job proper or giving you jolts down the spine 😅 And great review
I own a bear. The whole thing about shocks being too stiff is kinda overblown. Sure, they are a bit stiff if you are gonna ride the bike over potholed, cratered roads or if you seriously go offroad with this bike. However, if you have decent roads where you live, it's just amazing. The kinda confidence the stiff rear suspension provide while cornering is impressive. Don't buy it if you are in the market for a real scrambler. But if you think of it as a retro roadster, it's mind-blowing. I am an Indian and I live in a semi rural area. Riding it on the country roads is very enjoyable. Potholed roads, I guess it wouldn't be as fun.
Probably more gravely roads than off-road. There are a lot of non tarmac roads in Europe you’d hit when traveling. I think it would be suitable for that. Also good for filthy UK country lanes.
@@tomboyabit Thanks for the quick reply, and sorry, I missed your height comment, but I can't see the bike running inside 🤔 I hope to try a Bear 650 next month when they reach dealers here in Spain. Enjoy the Montenegro trip!
My favourite is the white with the blue seat. Looks like it might only be available in certain countries. They all look good. I like black too, but this time, with this model, it just doesn't do it for me.

This is one of the best looking bikes out for sure. And it's affordable for most!!
great looking bike ....... back to basics !!! at last .
True that!

Haha it’s hard to hide it.
You don't drive a motorcycle you ride it! So that means you are riding not driving FFS
@ Driving refers to car below zero F.

Custom shops will be all over the Bear 🐻
evert thought about the IAM and taking the advanced test ?

Nice! What about rear suspension? Everyone criticizing the stiffness. How’d you like it?
Maybe I didn’t ride it long enough to notice.

Why is there too much smoke from the exhaust?!

It was really smoking when you started it at 3 minutes. Can we know your height to be able to judge the feet on ground aspect? Thanks!
It’s because is that cold outside. Bike is not smoking inside as you can see.

Why the speedometer is always blinking I don’t think thats okay.
Speedo is fine. The refresh rate clashes with her camera frame rate.
Wish Royal enfield make a bear 350 as well for short small riders...
we are all different aren't we, for me the colour frame bike is the best without the gold forks (gold forks are so yesterday)
I like it.....i like it a lot
Its so classic
very much not-information... coming from an Interceptor, what are the differences?
This beauty need a good set of oem handgaurds
