Saab 9-5 wagon trunk locking issues

Saab 9-5 wagon trunk refuses to lock.

Have you tried to look at The door handle on The outside ower the regisretration sign

What year and model is yours? I am dealing with the same issue. All the noise and movement but no lock. No light inside when opening and no indication on dash when it is open. Weird.

The fault on my Saab 9-5 always comes down to some 2 cent plastic clip that's cracked or broken off.

I think it is actuator latch, I will have a go and change it

my issue is the trunk latch closed after I opened the trunk, and now the trunk won't close. any ideas?

unlock it from the inside, hold the inside handle open and he latch should pop down, if not then just pull it down. That should solve your problem.

I have the same issue. Never locked the truck....

to this day i unplugged the lock and i lock it manually every time

No i did not figure it out, i unplugged it and i use the manual button to lock it now..
