Susan Necheles overlooked the fact that Stormy has had a life time of defending her choice of profession. Consequently, Stormy was much more prepared for Susan's questioning than Susan was for Stormy's answers. Stormy won that showdown handily.

Michael Cohen's truth is that he was made accountable for his actions in this matter, at the hands of the Trump Administration and now it is only fair that " Individual 1" also do so.
He went to jail for a bunch of other reasons. Cohen isn't exactly credible. Face it this case is garbage.. even for democrats.
Cohen never was made accountable for his own crimes of fraud and taxes. He was allowed to get off easy by claiming he broke campaign finance laws for Trump, even though he didn't break any federal campaign laws.

Because there's no _evidence_ of its being true. Investigative reporters (with every motivation to prove it so) spent two years looking deep into the story and surfaced nothing. The fact is, that Trump has probably had his er, mushroom in lots of pies over the years so his first instinct may have been it might possibly be true.
I doubt he could accurately say _how_ many spawn he's sired.

I still think the "luridness" of the first day of testimony was somewhat designed to lure in the defense for the second day of her testimony. And the stupidity of the defense followed through nicely for the prosecution in bringing out the truth.

Katie Phang is awesome, I love her 60 seconds summary videos about the cases. Ok, Stormy was smart and using the witness stand to do her therapy, letting it reap. She painted a clear picture of a cheap man, who mentioned but didn't even provide dinner to someone who reminded of his daughter, come on!

The defense objected to the whole bedroom nature of her testimony. The judge allowed it. It's in the record, so further objections to that were inappropriate.

I saw a clip from Fox where they were claiming that Daniels failed under cross-examination. No, the person who failed on cross-examination was the one who was kowtowing to Trump by asking questions about his golf game.
She proved she hates Trump because she lost a case against him and refuses to pay Trump what he was awarded. That made her look really bad and shows her bad faith. She also had nothing to show of anything illegal done by Trump.

No we mean the payment he paid Daniels of $130,000 in October 2016- a month before the election. Maybe you should do a quick google search before you comment. He actually wanted to delay the handing over of the promised payment until after the election- so she wouldn’t talk- and then after the election he planned to not pay her- basically he wanted to rip her off. This is obvious evidence that the payment was made to keep her silent to subvert the election- because he didn’t care if it came out after he was elected or if he lost.

I thought the trial was about the illegal misappropriation of campaign funds- hush money given to Ms Daniels being represented as a campaign expenditure.
When the defense asks Cohen if he lied, does he have to tell the WHOLE TRUTH about all the lies he told in criminal conspiracies with his boss? Will the judge and prosecutor offer him transactional immunity to definitively resolve all of Cohen’s credibility issues?
Of course not! Cohen is not on trial. Even if he were, on the stand you answer only the specific questions posed to you. You don't freestyle confess everything you've ever done!
Also, Cohen has written books and given interviews and published a podcast openly admitting and denouncing the sleaze work he did for Trump. He can no longer be intimidated because he's implicated. Trump can no longer control Cohen with his projected shame. His bully baby tactics don't work on people who have taken responsibility for their own actions.
