This is the most inspirational character in the show for me. As a person with a very severely dangerous disability, Ivar shows that anything is possible with enough ruthlessness and motivation.
Alex Hogh Anderson has such amazing eyes...and I have always been a bit of a sucker for men with dark hair and blue eyes. It helps that he can act, too!
His eyes are naturally a sort of blue-green colour (like those of my husband and my son) but they digitally enhance them for the show, and add a bluish tint to the scelera, which is a characteristic of people with osteogenesis imperfecta.
Blue eyes are must have for men. After that, blonde hair. But Anderson could show me his bed skill whenever he wants. The most gorgeous man on this show.
Technically speaking, Ivar is not a psychopath. He is in fact acting entirely within the traditional moral codes of Norse society (unlike the rest of his family, who are all behaving like idiots while the harridan who killed their mother in cold blood still breathes) and the reason why he sometimes behaves as though he lacks empathy is because he's never really been treated with much empathy. In many ways, he's like Ender from the Xenocide series, who eventually learns empathy and begins to question the values with which he was raised.
THISS RPG. Ivar isn’t terrifying because of his anger, or his strategy, or his intensity, or even his ability on the battle field, he’s terrifying because he can’t be beaten, he doesn’t care about death, or pain, he is vengeance and he cannot be defeated, even Odin quakes with fear at the mention of his name.
Both in some way I think. He had been through a lot and thinks he needs to proof himself to the world. He has a goal and trys to accomplish it in the ways he thinks are the best even if they seem a little... too much, i guess?
@@Wingless117 he he'S good but he is criple he is not a viking he is a killer he dont want no peace but ragnar wanted peace he is not a son of ragnar l m support björn he is better than ivar and he has experience ivar is little shit
He should play Hamlet (he is Danish after all) but I also imagine him and the other Alexander from Vikings would be good in a Due South reboot or in something based on Fritz Leiber's Swords series.
You know what's funny no one will ever get history of the Vikings correct because what they wont tell you is that the Anglo saxons were more violent than the vikings only reason the vikings seem so violent is because the Christian priests heavily exaggerating the Vikings saying they have horns but no the Anglo saxons and Vikings had peace for a little while but before the Vikings there was Anglo saxons and celts and even Anglo celts and a couple others either way Anglo saxons destroyed alot of Celtic culture not giving them a break pushing them back into what is now Scotland I dont think the Anglo saxons were ever in Ireland I dont know that much either way my main point is everyone who likes Vikings rn is because they are mainstream

This is art. I want you to know that when on the verge of leaving this useless mortal plane, I watch this for motivation.
Alex as ivar the boneless, he's such a good actor, he'll go far and the music fits perfectly.
Plain,simple yet so amazing

Sarah Gray The blue eyes are contacts arent they?
No, they surely aren't. The actor borned whit that eye's color.
His eyes are naturally a sort of blue-green colour (like those of my husband and my son) but they digitally enhance them for the show, and add a bluish tint to the scelera, which is a characteristic of people with osteogenesis imperfecta.
Blue eyes, brown eyes or green, AlexHoeghAndersen is fine as hell! And a spectacular actor! Facts!
Blue eyes are must have for men. After that, blonde hair. But Anderson could show me his bed skill whenever he wants. The most gorgeous man on this show.
Maybe the best movie/tv-series psychopath ever. He's scary man

Sarah Gray, well, that sure was a bunch of words. Too bad none of it made any sense.

When he said “you can’t kill me “ I instantly thought of the vine that the little girl says “ I’m a bad bitch you can’t kill me”
I mean, how long will it take to get this public employee who works for the public to understand the First Amendment.
I don't know if he is a good guy or a bad guy?
Both?
Neither, he's a man with a desire to become a legend. How he achieves that is irrelevant.
Both in some way I think. He had been through a lot and thinks he needs to proof himself to the world. He has a goal and trys to accomplish it in the ways he thinks are the best even if they seem a little... too much, i guess?
