The honeycrisp apples are our favorite! Most of the stores around here sell HUGE honeycrisp apples and we prefer the smaller ones, so we love the TJ's sells the bags of the smaller apples. That pesto looks amazing! Can't wait to hear how you like it.

Mint will spread out and come back every year. Love it! But make sure you put it where you are cool with it spreading. Also... Soooo good in ice tea! I add them as whole leaves and just rough them up a bit first.
My fave mint is spearmint! Yeah it will spread. My mom planted peppermint next to hers spearmint and it is winning the battle.... Spearmint is the yummy one! I have mint we dug up at her house all around her garden and put in a pot. The last two houses we lived at mine always came back... And I suck at gardening.

My coworker insists that seeded watermelon is better. I have had wonderful luck getting sweet watermelon and I'm happy. Those pb cups are so freaking good. I also love their yogurt. It's like custard. I want to try that sriracha bbq sauce and those little cakes you got. I might have to go out there tonight lol

Oregano is a natural antibiotic that chickens love. Tyson feeds their chickens them to keep them healthy and antibiotic free. Just fyi. (I know ur not eating them lol but i thought id mention it)
Have you even tried those ice cream sandwiches?! I’m not huge on sweets, but those ice cream cookie sandwiches are heavenly! The cookie is so soft, the chocolate chips are crunchy.. ugh so good! They are so hard to resist!

They’re pretty inexpensive and it would pay for itself just in making the freeze dried bananas. You can also make dried apples, herbs, sweet potato chips, sun dried tomatoes, berries...anything!! It’s amazing :)
Omg I love Trader Joe’s, and the closest one is an hour away uggggg, so needless to say I don’t go very often. A friend of mine makes lemon drop cookies. I believe it’s a short bread and she puts her thumb in the center to make a Divet and then uses lemon juice and powdered sugar and one raspberry for color for the icing and pours it into the thumbprint. Oh my god they are delicious
I went to trader joes a week ago and I loved that I got every thing I needed plus more. This week I went to the store in my town called shaws and spent $275 and my dad and I are kinda mad because my brother kept putting things in the cart and I kept saying no more im going broke. We have enough food and water for the next two weeks!
Seeded watermelon according to my 4 year old is better. I personally don't like watermelon. Sprinkling lime Chile on watermelon is a Hispanic thing (maybe wrong, but my sister is married to a Hispanic and his whole family loves it) they have great kool-aid it's a different brand but it's soooo good! I love all Hispanic food! I go to the local truck waaaaay too often! But a $1 a taco. The pastor (pork soaked in pineapple juice) is soooo good. I've tried to do it myself and I can't. If you have a local one try it!

I agree. White corn is delicious! Bicolor is my fave 😊. Btw have you microwaves it before in the husk? It’s so much easier than taking off the husk for. Put a couple in the microwave husk on and microwave for 5 minutes. Cut off the end and slide the husks right off 😊.
Simple Wife Simple Life cauliflower gnocchi was good, the portion was small, with sauce it tasted like a normal gnocchi- same texture. Not sure how much cauliflower is in it as the ingredients listed were cauliflower and some kind of potato starch so 🤷🏻♀️ but it didn’t disappoint! The almond dip was good- different texture than hummus more gritty. It good! Not my fav 🤷🏻♀️🎉

If you haven't already, put your tortillas in the fridge! We like their tortillas too but they don't have preservatives and so they get moldy really fast! It was so funny because I had just finished eating a kiwi when you pointed out that you bought kiwis. I am also not a fan of chile on fruit. I do like salt on watermelon though. Sushi is one of the things I don't buy at TJ's because it's always mushy AND I looked for the cauliflower gnocchi at my TJ's but they didn't have it!! Grr! Tell me how it is! Did you happen to see the Blueberry Lavender Almond Milk? It's pretty good. I bought the Matcha one too but haven't tried it yet. It's in the shelf stable milk area. I threw my tortillas in the fridge, learned the TJ's bread issue first time I went there! It was moldy within like two days! lol I DID NOT see the cool new almond milk flavors, but plan to look for the next time! I saw them on instagram yesterday!! I'm pretty excited about it- but don't fully understand the hype surrounding matcha... idk I feel like I don't need extra energy... lol the cauliflower gnocchi was good, but.... idk It was a small portion and I think I'd rather have regular gnocchi, and eat cauliflower as a side ha!
Good to know about the gnocchi! Makes me less bummed that they didn't have it. I may look next time because it could be good for a light lunch? I used to never like matcha but it really grew on me. I like it kicked up with vanilla though.

corn doesn't ripen after it's picked. If anything it turns starchy and loses its sweetness

The corn is okay to be white. There is white corn and yellow corn. The white corn is a little sweeter than the yellow :) So, it's exactly right!

I threw my tortillas in the fridge, learned the TJ's bread issue first time I went there! It was moldy within like two days! lol I DID NOT see the cool new almond milk flavors, but plan to look for the next time! I saw them on instagram yesterday!! I'm pretty excited about it- but don't fully understand the hype surrounding matcha... idk I feel like I don't need extra energy... lol the cauliflower gnocchi was good, but.... idk It was a small portion and I think I'd rather have regular gnocchi, and eat cauliflower as a side ha!
Good to know about the gnocchi! Makes me less bummed that they didn't have it. I may look next time because it could be good for a light lunch? I used to never like matcha but it really grew on me. I like it kicked up with vanilla though.
