Welcome to It's Starkid Innit! Starkid's one day concert performance in London England on the 12th of May, 2024. The show had 2 performances, and this edit contains video of both mashed together not unlike how their musicals are edited. However, I had the disadvantage of limited footage in lower resolution, since this show was a one day performance, and not recorded. This fan edit constructs the most full version of that day's set, in it's most engaging and highest quality form. The edit prioritizes timing over footage, leaving some gaps in the beginning with only audio. Despite this I believe I've managed to edit together a compelling fan-footage version of the 2 performances. It will never be as good as if Starkid had done it themselves, but if you're looking for something more than a long compilation of clips, and want to experience the show in the manner that attendees got to, this is currently your best option, and I'm proud of what I accomplished!

To me this was Corey’s show!! Everyone was amazing but this really showed Corey and his talents! He absolutely stole the show for me
Working on Our Doors Are Open and Show Stopping Number were some of my favourite sequences. It's hard to inject artistry into an edit like this whilst also allowing the performances to carry themselves along, but I think I did them justice!

Corey was insane. Another standout of this show was Jeff Blim performing "Nerdy Prudes Must Die." I mean, personally, I think Will was much better, but there's just something magical about Jeff performing it. And then there's Clark singing "When I Was." He sounds so good whenever he sings it.

I’ve already thought this, but this concert really solidified my belief that Corey needs to cast in a more main character role in the future. His voice is a DREAM and his stage presence is so strong. Corey getting more solos is not a want but a need.

Never fails to amaze me just how tiny Jeff is. His stage persona is always so big.
He's not the smallest guy but he's dwarfed by Joey at 6'1 for sure.
Can we get some Clark appreciation in here, he did such a good job not only on I was but the piano the whole show

I love hearing the audience get hyped as they assume that they’re playing the original Rouges Medley, only to go more ballistic as they realize it’s a new one
Learning that “Not Alone” was originally meant to be an original single makes SO much sense. It’s honestly the song from AVPM that I listen to the most and will come to me (when I’m trying to sleep) the most. I always felt like it stood out in the musical. Yes it fit the scene, but it felt like such a great independent song too.
I wonder what an alternate universe would look like if Darren did sell it and it was on the radio in the 2010s

I swear, Jeff Blim didn’t NEED to put so much energy into his bits here, but the fact that he DID is AMAZING! An indescribable level of silly.
I know there are a TON of people who’ve commented this, but thank you for this! I’ve never been able to go to a live show, and having such a well-produced version of it to watch online means so much to me. Incredible editing skill on display as well, especially considering the initial footage collected.
Hey thank you! That's what 10 years of practice gets ya I guess! My hope is that at some point you'd forget it wasn't traditionally "shot" like some of their others. Maybe next time a live show comes around I'll try and do the same thing! Better yet, I'll bring my own camera, film this shit in 6K, be the hero all starkid fans need... Alas, 720p is what you get for now. I'm glad you enjoyed my edit :)

@@fizzycolalizzie Yes yes, I did idealize it as Starkid would have if they'd filmed and edited it, But my sources include both versions of the show, so if you're ever hungry for those moments of error, they've gotta be somewhere in there! I'd recommend these 2 channels which have great coverage. One of the noon show, one of the evening one. My cut wouldn't look nearly as good without these sources.

Idk who wrote the music but Jeff singing as Max Jagerman totally seems like it was written for his voice lmao, it matches a lot of his other songs
Jeff wrote the music For NPMD so that makes a lot of sense! You can hear his demo of High School Is Killing Me only using his voice in the trailer for NPMD.

Both shows had such lively audiences, and when It was feasible (As it was for the first verse of Getting Back To Hogwarts) I combined audio from the first and second shows so that NOBODY who was there, was left out. I also remember doing this for the "Will you pray for me... When I'm gone... Can you repeat that... I'M NOT A LOSER!" Lines near the beginning.

Yes, I waited about a week to start to make sure I had a good amount of sources to work from. As I worked on it better ones continued to emerge. I'm sure if I started this project NOW it would even look quite different, but I was also worried about timeline, and I'm proud of how this turned out!

All jokes aside, It's simply because I was using footage from multiple performances. I did my best to hide the switches but sometimes, there were inconsistencies.
And now you must be punished for pointing out my flaws! In Black Friday, at 40:33, between Gary's lines, there's a cut where almost everybody's body position changes. Gary goes from hunched over to standing straight up, Linda is looking in a different direction, and even the shopper behind them is stood further back in the shot they cut to! Enjoy my failings, as well as Team Starkid's!

No I don't think they did. Twisted is a hard musical to sing a song from because so much of the music from that show relies on Dylan. And the other super popular song from it relies on Joe Walker. Neither of whom were there. I mean, they COULD have had Jeff sing "Orphaned At 33." Or, and I would have paid good money to see this, have Meredith sing "A Thousand And One Nights" with her husband, Brian. Or if they wanted to shake it up, turn it into a Joey and Lauren duet?
@@ForeverDegenerate Yes, but a lot of the songs relied on the cast they had, obviously. The only standout "Incorrect" sorta times are Jaime in Literal Monster, Joey starting out Feast or Famine, and Meredith, Hermione, singing "Hermione can't draligh"
