Growing up in the Phillipines, we used these torches we call "Mitsa" pronounced as Mit-sà because we often have power outages we call BROWNOUT lol. If you can't find any metal rings, you can use alluminum foil. Fold it into 1" wide and roll it around the piece of cotton... Thank you for the video, it brought a lot of my childhood memories...:)
