I remember this story. My mother was a DV survivor. Her husband slapped her in the face with a belt and knocked her teeth out. I was 12 years old. I'm just finding out this month that he also slapped my younger sister. He followed her one night. When she pulled her car over he knocked her on the ground. He dropped dead at home. His last two words were, "Oh No." I couldn't shed not ONE tear at his funeral. Not.One.Tear. Years later my mother developed and coordinated a DV conference. I looked up and she was being interviewed by a local TV station. I'll FOREVER be proud of her. RIP, Momma.

This case opened my young eyes. Not that I ever planned on it BUT…I knew I would NEVER put myself or a man in a position that neither of us wanted. This man did not want this child and he meant it. So much so, he wanted her DEAD. Such a sad ending, even for the living.
He already had a child and didn't want to be financially responsible for another child. They had an intense physical attraction which young people can mistake those feelings for love.
He simply didn't have to be involved! If you don't want babies, don't have sex.. duh! Only protection again pregnancy is abstinence. Condoms aren't even 99٪ protection, only 96.3%. Four percent should be viewed as a lot for persons with no desire to procreate.

This case opened my young eyes. Not that I ever planned on it BUT…I knew I would NEVER put myself or a man in a position that neither of us wanted.
This man did not want this child and he meant it. So much so, he wanted her DEAD. Such a sad ending, even for the living.
He already had a child and didn't want to be financially responsible for another child. They had an intense physical attraction which young people can mistake those feelings for love.
He simply didn't have to be involved! If you don't want babies, don't have sex.. duh! Only protection again pregnancy is abstinence. Condoms aren't even 99٪ protection, only 96.3%. Four percent should be viewed as a lot for persons with no desire to procreate.
