    By far the best combo of musicians and vocals I have heard in a long time. They compliment each other in a way very few have. Huge fan if you can't tell but they're just that good.

      Yep. Four extremely talented artists, at the peak of their powers, creating something utterly unique. I can't get enough of them (though Tati is the linchpin for me).

      @Beccahere  4 роки тому +2

      Honestly even though I've only heard a few songs from them, I can tell how incredibly talented they are, they just work sooooo well together and you don't hear that from many bands anymore! I'm excited to listen to more :)

    I'm a painter myself and I always find it interesting to see how other artists free-hand unspecific people. Just coming up with a person on the spot and painting them. That way, artistry, crafts(wo)manship and creativity can all be showcased together and all around, it is just a fun thing to do and see.

    • @Beccahere
      @Beccahere  4 роки тому +2

      Ayyy that's very interesting! I may have a go at that, it's something I've never tried so that could be really cool, thank you for the suggestion! :)

      @Alfred Soul @Becca Talking about that, you two should check out the youtube channel "rooneyojr". The guy goes on Omegle and draws the people there in few minutes, on the spot, most of the times with one line drawing. It's amazing and so cool to see. My favourite youtube quarantine find for sure :)

    Nice reaction Becca. I totally understand where you're coming from in regards to harsh/growling vocals. I've been listening to metal music for over 40 years, and I was never into the "growling" vocals, I thought it was impressive, but it also burned me out and became old really quickly. The reason that I fell in love with Jinjer instantly was because their music changeups were fantastic between heavy and melodic, as musicians they are phenomenal. And of course there is Tatiana, she is out of this world talented, her vocals are insane, she is in my opinion, one of, if not the best female metal vocalist ever. Anyhow keep up the great reactions, if you choose to do more Jinjer reactions, you won't be disappointed, all of their songs are fantastic. Peace and stay Metal. 🤘🤘🤘🎶🎶🎶

    • @Beccahere
      @Beccahere  4 роки тому

      I think you literally just described my exact feelings on growling vocals before I listened to Jinjer! Literally I used to be the same and be like meh I'm bored of this sound instantly when it came to non stop growling from bands, but Jinjer manage it in such an amazing varied way! Tatiana is honestly the best female metal vocalist I've heard, I have so much respect for her. They are one talented band and can't wait to listen to more! Thanks for watching! :)

    I am not a musician but I do build my own speakers using computer programs, anechoic chambers (closet with foam on walls), test tones, etc. I am also an old timer rock/metal head and I have not seen or heard a band like Jinjer in many many years. You're right, they ARE next level. Oh, and I'm not much of a scream/growl fan either! One thumbs up for you. Ten thumbs up for Jinjer!

    The way she can go into a growl and then sing without hurt her voice is with proper technique, she uses her diaphragm with proper breath control to keep her voice from going horse. This is extremely important especially if you're a touring artist, think of your voice like an instrument, The only difference is if you were to break a string on a guitar you can replace it, however if you rupture a vocal cord, you will not be able to replace it and repair it as easy. So the proper training in the proper techniques, she is able to do this very well, she has obvious vocal training hence why she's so good at what she does. If You are more interested in stuff like this I highly recommend checking out the vocal coach Melissa Cross, as she is one of the individuals that have really gone up front and helped many metal vocalists who had trouble with keeping their voice strong on tour, And now have been able to sustain their voice, and maintain their voice very well on tour.

    I hope the tooth/jaw feels better soon. You cannot go wrong with Jinjer! For a great live one I would recommend "Who is going to be the One", Also here are a few other videos a lot of people react to that are worth watching:
    Nightwish - "Ghost Love Score, Wacken 2013" - Symphonic Metal (Finland), 15m+ Views, Female Singer - ua-cam.com/video/JYjIlHWBAVo/v-deo.html
    Nightwish - "Romanticide, Wacken 2013" - 4m+ Views - ua-cam.com/video/zz_7OCCQlXs/v-deo.html
    Diana Anakudanova - "Wicked Game" - (Russia) - Recommended by Dimash, They have the same agent (Igor), ua-cam.com/video/7jv-DQnf2UY/v-deo.html
    Unleash the Archers - "Awakening" (Canada) - Power Metal - 7.9m+ Views, Female Singer - ua-cam.com/video/gqUPGa15Oto/v-deo.html
    "the Warning" - A hard rock band of 3 sisters out of Mexico, heavily influenced by Classic Rock - Try the song "Dust to Dust, Live at Lunaro" - 600k+ Views, Keeping rock alive for the next generation - ua-cam.com/video/TeIbG8nkOiU/v-deo.html
    "Band-Maid" - a Japanese power metal band, all-female, try the song "Dominiation" - 2.6m+ Views, ua-cam.com/video/QbyQCJn6rYg/v-deo.html
    "Lovebites" - a Japanese power metal band, all-female as well, try the song "Shadowmaker" - 132k+ Views, ua-cam.com/video/xYdJHaqy_JM/v-deo.html
    "Rammstien" - an 'industrial metal' band out of Germany, very unique, do live videos as they aggressively block official videos. Recommend "Mein Tell" as a starting point - They do probably the best stage show of any band I have ever seen.

    Ways to improve and get more viewers: I'm glad you react to Jinjer. Great band. But if you could keep the intro short (maybe 30 seconds instead of 3:20 before the actual video starts) ; the volume of your voice is much higher than the music video so if we turn up the volume to hear Jinjer, your voice will be so loud; finally, it would be much better if you would not talk during the video,then we could turn up the volume ...you got better bear the end but perhaos your jaw was getting sore. Instead pause the video to a) so you don't get it blocked; b) so we can enjoy the video; and c)we will pay more attention to what you have to say during several short 20 sec pauses. Thank you! And, no, this is not meant to hurt feelings, just improve the production of your video.

    • @Tobyc1315
      @Tobyc1315 4 роки тому +3

      I agree about the music volume, but keep doing what you're doing otherwise. If they don't like a long intro, they can easily skip right to the song. Personally, I think you have an engaging personality and great speaking voice that makes me want to listen to whatever you're saying. Keep it up!

    • @odell4625
      @odell4625 4 роки тому +1

      The sound of the song it's pretty low. Otherwise, nice reaction. Would love to see your reaction to jinjer judgment and Punishment.
      On a side note, if you are not afraid of something that is super hard and that has a gruesome video, check out Humanity's last breath "Earthless".

    • @morgansearle3912
      @morgansearle3912 4 роки тому +1

      I disagree with this person; even ignoring the rest of the stuff about not speaking which is a bit weird for a reaction video, I've yet to see Napalm claim a single video so chill about copyright for their music.

    • @Beccahere
      @Beccahere  4 роки тому +1

      Thanks for the feedback! I'm very sorry about the volume of the music as that's my fault in editing, I lower it to edit and then usually bring it back up but forgot this time, sorry! I've also tried the pausing and talking during the pause through a video and it wasn't for me or for those watching at the time so don't do that and it also doesn't help copyright as 90 percent of my videos including this one are copyrighted even if I pause the video so I don't really care about all that as it makes no difference for me :) I only talk over the song a little bit due to being very excited and it being a reaction video so like to show some sort of small reaction throughout when hearing it! I always give a full reaction at the end :) as for the intro, as I like to engage with my audience I also like to have a chat to get people chatting in the comments etc. (like I have done for 2 years while building my channel to 10k subs) but people can skip it easily if they don't want to watch it, this intro was longer than usual but usually I try and keep them more snappy :) thanks for the feedback and I will consider it when filming and editing in the future!

    nice reaction. Regarding suggestions for your painting i have one question: Have you ever done portraits? You could try to portray one of your favourite metal singers? Tatiana for example. I am sure there are a couple of good photos you could use as a sample.
    As for reactions i agree with the people who suggested "Perennial" live at Wacken 2019 ua-cam.com/video/bxi3i9wzQBk/v-deo.html. This show was awesome and Jinjer was one of the reasons i purchased a ticket for this festival for the first time.
    The other reasons were Eluveitie, Sabaton and Uriah Heep. Well, UH are not metal but are legends of rock music and it was so enjoyable to see these guys having fun on their very first Wacken appearence playing some of their greatest hits like "Gypsy" , "Lady in black" or "Easy livin". Sadly only Mick Box remains as founding member of the band. You could find people of all ages in the crowd from 60yrs down to 20 yrs, absolutely amazing. They had a sign language translater on stage and she did an amazing job (i didn't understand one word she said in sign language). Her performance at the side of the stage was amazing. I mean, how do you translate a rock song into sign language LIVE on stage? I could not find an official video from Uriah Heeps Wacken gig only this fan made video ua-cam.com/video/TeJrts8nGPM/v-deo.html.

    Please don't call it screamo. Screamo is a subgenre of emo and has nothing to do with metal.

      sorry! I am so used to saying scream o as in Scotland growing up, anything that growled I was always told or it was always referred to as scream o! I'll make sure to say growling instead thank you :)

    I think you can hear the song, the melody, the sound, but I don't think you actually listened to the song. Do you know a single word she said? You also talked over the entire song, giving it half attention as you were worried about someone knocking on your door, terrible reaction. Sorry about your jaw being sore :(
