Facts, the economy is better than ever before, people have more than before, democracy have never been as good as before in Hungary. If it wasn't true, you couldn't spread lies. In Germany you would be in jail if you dared to talk against the government. Sure still have a lot to achieve, but from what it was in 2010, it is already remarkable.

I do educate myself on the facts, so allow me to give them to you, rather than accusations which you yourself are guilty of here. The economy is not better than before Orban. In terms of GDP, Hungary before Orban was at a high of over 158B. Since taking office, the overall GDP has constantly fluctuated between 125-140B. It’s public debt is much higher than its Central European peers at 74.5%. The people also don’t have more than before. The poverty rate is still at 14.5 and the high wealth inequality has only grown since taking office. The fiscal commission created to manage the federal budget has been dissolved so Orban and his oligarchs can spend without impunity. And freedom and democracy is severely in decline. According to the fredomhouse report, before Orban, Hungary ranked at around 87-90 out of 100 in terms of freedom. Under Orban’s tenure, that has dropped to 70, earning it the label of “partially free”, just above Brunei Darussalam. Opposition parliamentarians and journalists lost much of their ability to oppose and criticize the government. A law granting politicians the right to enter the offices of public buildings was repealed, and they now require prior notification and permission. As for journalists, Orban now directly controls a press authority, which can penalize journalists at will. You can certainly “spread lies” in Hungary. Just don’t be surprised if your bank account gets drained because of it.

The so called 'independent' watchdogs who are well known as manipulative, payed NGO's and such, only serving one agenda, to destroy democracy and replace the government to a socialist government that follows the lead of the mainstream globalist agenda. Anybody could come up with any results if put enough money behind it. The facts are actually this. In 2010 the country was on the brink of collaps. Gyurcsány called the EU saying if you don't help, the economy collapses in a week. It's a fact. All the energy providers were sold out to foreign ownership for a small amount plus a large pocket money. Those foreign companies hiked up the energy prices as never before. They borrowed money just to stay afloat. Unemployment was at high and powerty was at it's worst since the communist dictature. These are facts. Whatever some foreign manipulated so called "civil" organisations say is irrelevant. And what I said it's true here as well. The ignorant fools and people with personal agendas fall for it, but the intelligent ones see through it. That's all. You can twist the truth as you wish, it's still a lie. And the majority of the country knows it for 10yrs in a raw. But I guess for you democracy is only democracy if you win. Sorry, that is exactly the opposite. Fighting the majority elected government is fighting democracy. Instead of fighting, lying and destroying what is already built, make a better alternative than the existing government and I will vote for it. But right now there are only powerhungry spineless liers for alternative. If that's what you want for a change, I guess that says it all about you.
Robert Illes as of today, Viktor Orban basically made himself dictator. Elections are canceled, parliament suspended, spreading “fake news” is now a 5 year prison sentence, and violating quarantine is an 8 year one. Hungary has no democracy anymore

Yea I wish I had a dictator that build a train track and a huge stadium in front of his house for hundreds of millions of taxpayer money while there is literally 0 people using it (town of 1700 people). Funny thing is that is not even the worst he as done with your money, he owns the whole country.
