Man! I wish i saw these videos before I went through the whole document. Great info to hear and listen to for learning or for review. I am gearing up to take my Series 65 in two weeks for the second time. Any helpful tips that haven't been published in 65 videos id be grateful for. LOVE these videos. THANK YOU!
Lol. Not sure. When is your test date? Trying to finish the 65 explication and add a practice final but have been really busy and my not for profit UA-cam has had to wait. Lol. Shooting for two or three weeks.
I had a random question about calendar dates and the fiscal year of a company and it listed random dates in a year. Can you explain that to me? It should of been a point and click question but I don’t remember going over that.
Hi Dean, I am studying for the 65 and your videos seem to be helping a lot. I was wondering if you had a list somewhere of the order to watch the videos in?
@@Series7Guru thank you for this , really thankful for all you do .My only question regarding this is why are the watch order starting with explicated test instead of supplemental videos to learn the content better ?
Hi Dean loved the videos. Where can I find the second part of this explanation. In this video you cover until Regulation Reg D, and I am trying to find the next two videos where you cover the rest of the material. They don't say part 1 or 2 lol.. and you have a lot of videos. If you can point e int he right direction it would be very helpful.

Good day Dean, me again. Question, TIPS keep pace with inflation, right? Then would REITs hedge for inflation? And would common stock beat inflation? Please and thank… ------------------- I test for one last time S65 this 2.17. I come from a group of over 30 individuals selected for the role, all have passed thanks to you. I didn’t watch you, I didn’t pass. I have read STC, Kaplan, TestGeek and my brain is like in over load. I have faced 7,66 fail by 3% and fail 65 by the same amount (I have passed SIE, 6, 63) But I have ran out of time. All my colleagues said “DID YOU WATCH DEAN?” I just didn’t have enough time before with full time work and full time mom. So far your videos have cleared my overload and I will watch ALL you videos because in the company I work for ALL have watch YOU! (That have passed) Here I am. Anyway…. I hope you can read the initial questions. Best regards.
Hello Dean, I tested for S65 unfortunately I fail buy 3%. I will test again mid February so I am reviewing as much as I can and definitely my weak area is this one. The exam had this question that puzzle me and I am still confused it went something like “Tax was increased by 10% directly affecting the type of investment you hold, what type of risk this would be? A) Risk-rewards B) Financial c) Interest D) Regulation … To be honest I do not recall the exact details of the question but I know that answer had to be Legislative but this was not in the possible options answer set. So would regulatory help the best answer? I selected Risk-reward and like you say “Let the universe unfold” lol! But I till today don’t know what he right answer could be. 🤷🏼♀️ any suggestions?
It is what I was I felt to select but my nerves got to me. Please do let me know if you will have like a live tutoring for this in the next up coming weeks. Please and thank you.
Dean- I recently got a 70% on the test and economics was my lowest score. Are there any paid supplements you advise or videos you have for economics? Thank you for all your hard work and effort you put in to help me and other slay the 65 Dragon!
No. I would know standard deviation helps determine market volatility or the spread of asset prices from their average price. High standard deviation more volatility low standard deviation means less volatility.
I know you know this by now, but yes, these explications are very helpful! Taking my series 65 at the end of the month 🤞🏼🤞🏼
This excellent. You reap what you sow. This gift you have give will be returned to you 10 fold
Thank you
For what I've seen so far, the information is clearer and more helpful than most of the presenters with Kaplan. Thank you.
Glad you are finding them helpful.
Your explications are excellent reference as I prepare the for the Series 65 Exam!! Thank you.
De nada

Very helpful
Glad you found it helpful.
Hi Dean, will I be tested on the information for basic economy concept for S66? for the business cycle and monetary policy. Thank you
You will not.
super useful!!! Keep it up!
Glad you found it useful.
Hey, just passed 🎉.. 3 or 4 questions on CPI amd inflation
Kudos Investment Advisor Representative!
Thanks for paying it forward!
For the inverted yield curve, does that mean people are buying long term bonds and selling short term?
Yes, because they fear a bad economy.
@@Series7Guru gracias! I just booked my 65 for this Saturday 🙏
Stupid question but I have to ask a calendar is 12 moths, so when he said 2 calendars that's 24 months (2 years), right??
Quarters are 3 months. 2 calendar quarters is 6 months.
I had a random question about calendar dates and the fiscal year of a company and it listed random dates in a year. Can you explain that to me? It should of been a point and click question but I don’t remember going over that.
Some firms have fiscal years that are different from the calendar year. For most calendar and fiscal year are one in the same.
Thank you Dean
Very welcome

Not this content. Content was added but not subtracted. Listen to my podcast episode
What can you do with a series 65 license?
Work for a fee based Investment Advisor
@@Series7Guru is there a demand? Would you say it's worth pursuing and obtaining?
@@BossChronicles yes but this is not a vocational channel
Dean I get confused when one of the videos does not say series 65. Is the economics lecture the one labeled for the SIE exam? Thanks
Economic content for SIE and 65 is the same
@@Series7Guru thanks can I just assume any lecture on balance sheet from you will work for 65 too?
Yes

Dean, 13D 13G 13F filed quarterly? Or just the first two?
Only 13F is quarterly.

TIP s keep pace. Common stocks beat. The test will not be looking for a REIT
Also did we skip over income sheet/ balance sheet on this?
No.but there are two seoerste balance sheet lectures.
@@Series7Guru are they labeled as 65?
@@Series7Guru wait I found it. I hope you don’t mind if I continue to check in with you when I have questions on which lectures apply!

What’s the website to print the pdf
Just Google Series 65 Test Specifications and it will come up.
I just heard another UA-camr say that the Fed sets the federal funds rate so I came to this video to make sure I knew he was wrong.
They set the discount rate and target the fed funds rate.
Amen! Haha
Explication woo hoo!!! 😂
