Aside from Jane Austen time slip movies, I also watch Asian time slip movies where the character goes back in time and fall for a historic emperor in time. Like a lot of Asian movies and tv series there is a lot of romantic and funny moments and its worth watching. At time the heroine would either stay in the past or return to the present. And in some version the girl gets to meet her love interest in the present and then the movie ends.
You should look up Chinese mini dramas on youtube with REBORN after it as it is a popular trope where a girl wakes up in past times and right now back to the 80s is the most popular at the moment lol
No. The lead character should not stay in the past since it will ruin the present time. Going to the past and change a bit of something with create new timeline. The characters existence might vanished or whatever. You should watch Predestination movie recap here in UA-cam. It's about time travel with roller-coaster ride confusions. For simple explanation of time travel, watch Disney's Meet the Robinsons.
Oh boy... Someone somewhere along this production process fundamentally misread Austen if they thought it was primarily a love story with a happy ending and not a scathing commentary about the fiscal marriage market.
This put me in mind of two other Time slip Jane Austen movies. Where the heroine goes back in time to meet her dream man Mr Darcy. Two of them are Lost in Austen & An American in Austen. I kind of prefer Lost in Austen more. But that doesn't mean I will not give this movie a chances. Such movies like those should be give a second chances.
THIS is the reason i watch recaps. GREAT Films i haven't been blasted about online, from other countries, often independents, under the radar, etc. Etc. This one is so sweet and trope but clever.
this is the second movie, where a girl slips into jane austen's pride and prejudice, and the first movie was about a girl who time slipped in a taxi to her way home when she passed away
@@ABC-tt7qe another live action jane austen isekai is the series lost in austen where the protagonist wishes her dream boyfriend would be like mr darcy and she swapes places with lizzy and lizzy ends up in the 21 century working in childcare as a nanny for hire while the main character stays in the 19th century with mr darcy.

Let's be honest, Lost in Austen was essentially a wattpad-style fanfic that somehow got made into a TV show. It didn't originate the idea of a heroine falling into her favorite romance novel, that's been a favorite trope of fanfiction writers for years.
