    Can't wait to try my new Midwest Industries 2 chamber brake tomorrow 😎👌🔥
    Great video brother.

    Sir you are correct. You don’t back up a crush washer. That defeats the purpose of a “crush” washer

    The only thing I would have liked to have seen was what big you had it mounted in when you did the work. I think I'll be getting a Midwest Industries action rod.

    When you tighten any muzzle device it will constrict the bore. The more the torque, the more the constriction. I will never go over 20 ft pounds..If the muzzle device needs to be tight like when using a suppressor, I will use Rocksett and never go over 20 ft pounds..

    So, you can get a half turn more with a crush washer? What ft lbs on a torque wrench would that be?

      Sorry but I have no idea.

    Is it mandatory to install a thread protector?

    Muzzle break on an AR-15? It has almost no recoil with just a flash hider

      That’s the great thing about America, we have choices to choose what we want.

    Can you use gun oil instead of grease?

    • @GunTalk556
      @GunTalk556  Рік тому +5

      Sure you can use oil. A lot of people don’t use anything. I prefer to use grease because it’s going to hold up longer. The reason I use it is because any moisture over time that may make its way onto the barrel threads could create rust and make future removal more difficult. I believe whichever way you choose will be just fine.

      I don't use anything and change out muzzle devices alot. Using clp sounds legit though.

    Don't use grease...it will make the muzzle brake come loose. Instead use (blue) loctite which will prevent it from coming off.

    "Brake" not Break. Words matter.

      Thank you! I clicked instantly because of the grammar, glad you pointed it out, I’m sure someone will chime in with some hate though. Which, witch, they’re, their, there, etc…
