Great video...I've been to the Pigeon Forge display twice...my late friend/distant cousin Phil Gowan was one of the premier Titanic historians and collectors of Titanic memorabilia...mostly photos...he was part of the Titanic Association and traveled all over the world doing research, speaking to Titanic family members....and he also met the lady who was the last remaining survivor of Titanic/Millvina Dean...she was just an infant at the time of the sinking🧊🚢....his specialty was research of the passengers and crew...he was instrumental in opening the Pigeon Forge and Branson displays...the "boarding pass" was an idea of his and all of the short biography info on the pass was provided by him...he was on several Titanic documentaries NatGeo/Discovery Channels...the official number of souls on Titanic is called the "Gowan Numbers"...Phil Gowan and I grew up in the same most town south of Dallas...we went to college together for 3 years...there's a gentleman buried here in Corsicana that lost his parents in the sinking...as you walk out of the last room of the display/where it shows the survivors/lost souls...there's a plague thanking Phil Gowan for his contribution

It seems like moving the artifacts (like the violin) around would put wear and tear on them. . . Or the possibility of losing or destroying them.

Good point! They must take tremendous precautions to keep it safe when transporting it.

I'm so sad that the violin will only be the until the 20th!! We won't get there until the 25th. Dang! I was really hoping to see it.

Call the Titanic Museum Attraction to double check just in case their plans have changed in the time since we recorded this video.
