Dear Moreno,
I love everything you do and groove to your funky re-mixes on a regular basis. But please, please, please: match the pitch/intonation of the cowbells to the rest of the track!
I guess you blended 2 or even 3 different versions of this song together. I'm a classical violinist and the dissonance in intonation is simply clawing at my brain. Please have empathy with my ears 😄
@@violinbubi I have different taste than you about the cowbell. I like the original pitch from the software drumcomputer that I use.
No I don't blend different versions. I just re-recorded from the original extended version and add my own ideas of extra melodies and editing.

Don't get me wrong, I love your own ideas for extra melodies and editing, and I think that you are very talented in judging how to "enhance" the original feeling and character of a song without "dis-respecting" or overloading it. Personally I think your version of Laura Branigans - Self Control from 22.07.2023 is a masterpiece and a good example for that. I could listen to it all day every day.
But I do have very sensible ears for intonation and wish this one didn't mess with my brain this way.
@@violinbubi These voice is with vocoder and because of the AI Voice Splitter and artifact it sounds strange there.
The AI Voice Splitter is not perfect. It recognize not all the freq and instruments. Example in some parts are the sax not splitted from the vocals.
And some time it mute too much freq from a instrument that to much artifact gives on the vocal.

The single voice e.g. when the singing starts is quite off-tone, false. Is that intentional? Otherwise the mix is excellent! (Just those parts hurt my ear.)
I didn't do anything to the tune, straight from the original.
I think it's because it starts with a vocoder voice.
And because of the AI Voice Splitter and artifact it sounds strange there.

Too bad there are no multi tracks or studio acapella of this song.
I wish these remixes were available in the '90s when I needed them. Imagine all this content on 12". This is how I dreamed it would sound like, mix and sync friendly and crisp melodies.
