Scott, Idk, there is reality, at truck is what it is, it's not a toy, it was built for the average person so they can do the work of why a person would need a truck. there is a culture of mind set where (to them) it is just a form of a car used just for transportation. Trucks are handy for the do it yourselfers, yard work, home improvement, getting your wood in for the winter and so on, or you have something that requires towing. There is nothing wrong with have an older Truck, in a lot of ways it is advantage, and as long as you can bend wrenches on it to fix it, without all the electronic computerized crap, that make's it worth so much more. Good video. Dave

Great patina truck !!! From an era when you didn't have to be an "AI Bot" to work on them.
That thing is awesome and it probably has a carburetor : ).

It's 1/2 way to being a camouflage paint scheme now.

Now rub the whole truck down with linseed oil, Flowtrol, or mineral oil. It will bring all that faded paint back to life, and keep it from rusting. She'll look like a million bucks. I did it with mineral oil on my 62 Volvo PV544 and it went from dull gray to the original black.

I would think there is a drain hole in there somewhere! Hey can you do a video on your house wood stove? Maybe your first fire up for the year!

GunGeek sure knows how to stretch the Loonies. ... The Great GunGeek knows how to make a vehicle last. ... The old truck is just what a man needs to haul around the wood needed for the winter, in the Far Frigid North. ... I had a 1985 Ford Ranger the same blue color. The paint peeled off in some places. I simply 'spray' painted the spots, when the paint disappeared. = Made the vehicle look like it belonged to an American Hick. ... The ultimate reason so many vehicles in the period had peeling paint was the USA, Environmental Protection Agency; the EPA made the car companies 'tinker' with their formula to protect the Earth. ... According to the Internet, it seems, GunGeek's truck is just old and cold, with no underlying paint problem. ... The weather in the Far Frigid North is harsher on Iron and Steel, >than the tough men, women, children and sled dogs of the Far North.

Thumbs up. ... I didn't know the name of the part of a truck car until now.
