It’s the best feeling ever getting complimented on your skin after hating everything about it for years

I know I’m just some stranger on the internet but I want you to know that your scars are nothing to be ashamed of or embarrassed by. Our skin goes through so much and those little “imperfections” show that we’re human

Just an egg allergy … it was so nice to be told I had great skin though. 3 days after cutting out egg, my skin completely cleared up too.
That's what happened to me, too! Except I figured it out on my own. I had to go on a low FODMAP diet because of my GI issues. Which meant that I couldn't consume a lot of gluten; something I was eating in excess. Within like a month, my acne pretty much cleared up. I didn't think about the fact that the skin is also an organ (the largest on our bodies). So, sometimes it reflects what's going on internally. smh. I have a family history of migraines and I get maybe like 1 every other month or if I'm on my period or something. I used to get so many of them within a singular week. Now, I always make it a point to tell people to look at their diet first before going to a dermatologist and getting chemicals and steroids.
