- dedicated video ram increase in Windows 10 is possible, this means dedicated video ram (or VRAM) can be possibly increased more than 128mb up to 2048 mb and this method could work both in laptop and pc so don't care about the device.

Just a few things that some people should know:
1. This only works on integrated graphics, meaning if you have a graphics card, you can not increase the vram of said graphics card.
2. While it could help, regular ram is MUCH slower than vram, which means your fps is probably not gonna be as stable and your performance may even be worse. (Especially talking to the gamers here)
3. If you really want to upgrade your vram amount, buy an actual graphics card if you can. It will make your life as a gamer a lot smoother.
And finally props to this guy for showing something legit, not just a scam. (Throwback to all those "Increase RAM with FREE SOFTWARE for FREE" lol)

Man, it was working perfectly for me for months. But recently, it suddenly stopped. The value in the segment is still there, but the dedicated video ram is not changing. It propably happened after an update of my windows. Please reply a solution...

I have in my notebook, 8GB of RAM, a dedicated 2GB MX150 graphics card and of course, the integrated graphics of the processor. But I think, 2 or 4 GB of my RAM is being shared with the Intel UHD Graphics 620, but I don't want to lose 2 or 4 GB of my RAM with integrated graphics even more because they are not dedicated, knowing that I already have a video card with 2GB of dedicated VRAM, by the way, if my RAM is actually being shared with the processor GPU, it takes a lot of performance, the computer doesn’t have enough memory to run games and the browser without running too slow, So, if I recover my RAM, and continue with the MX150 with 2GB dedicated, will it help or hurt me the most?

I have 4GB ram and Radeon 520 2gb but only have 128mb dedicated so i did this method and increased to 512. I was wondering what happens if i change the dedicated to 1024? Would that damage to my laptop lmao?

So I'm trying to go through your tutorial, and I want to increase my video ram on my iMac mid 2011, which has an AMD Radeon Graphics Processor (0x6740) 512MB. I'm running Windows 10 via bootcamp. I did the change in the Intel folder and also the same in the AMD folder, and increased it from 512 to 900. After restart, it still says 512MB for dedicated video memory. Total available graphics memory says 2304MB.
for you i guess that's the limit, try another method to increase it.

i noticed that you have an intel graphics card, .... i have an amd so will this still work if i create the GMM folder under the intel option in the registry menu since i have an amd graphics card?

Your wouldn't able to load faster. So you can't use steam, facebook and Spotify at the same time. Also your pc will be hot AF.

Hello. I have 16GB of RAM, and it says there's a total of 8761MB of VRAM available, however the dedicated VRAM is 1024MB. What value should I put in the regedit to upgrade the VRAM? I mean, how much more MB should I add?

If you would say your PC runs fine (starting up isn't extremely slow, the computer isn't struggling to open task manager and things like that) not including internet, I would say you should do so. if the value is higher than 2048 already don't decrease it obv lol

I did your method but sadly did not work for me.
Final part so my video memory is 2048mb but when I play gta in the settings I'm being told I'm using 2594 and I can max out at 4095mb. So does that mean I actually can use up to 4095mb?
I also have 7000mb of shared system memory so I read that if I'm wanting to play again that requires more vram then I have then it will just take extra from the shared system memory?
I did the changes, checked and mine was 64 bit (which I didnt do before) but even when I made the exact changes it didnt work despite having triple the available graphic memory.
Ive been wanting to play Destiny 2 on pc with some friends of mine but the thing keeps crashing even after windowing it and putting the graphics settings beyond low.

If you hav 1gb ram then the value= 128mb and evry 1gb ram is 128mb vram, if you have:
1gb ram = 128mb vram
2gb ram = 256mb vram
3gb ram = 384mb vram
4gb ram = 512mb vram (value in rigedit)
And so on...

Are you sure that you wrote the folder name GMM, the DedicatedSegmentSize, and check you are on 64 bit or 32 and chose whatever bit is your system

@Nanu YT dude, try using dword (32 bit) value, and set it to decimal and then set the value...
