The only one that I agree with cutting is Prim's nightmare. The original cut into the movie with screaming and no context is much more powerful. Still wish we got more of the interviews and character exploration but damn it if the entire movie isn't still amazing.
I wish they'd give us a director's cut, even if only for streaming/purchase, not in the theater. I'd buy both theater and director's version to see all the deleted scenes in sequence !!! !!! !!!
I hated it how gale treated prim like his younger sister to only turn around and stab her in the back. But I did like how it showed prime care for animals in that scene and I think they filmed it really well.
He literally didn’t mean to kill her. He just designed a weapon that coin later went and used on the capitols children and their own people, where prim happened to be.
Jennifer didn’t learn or understand the role she played at ALL. She plays a resistance fighter but irl supports the capital (Israel).. really quite embarrassing.
