First... that's not a 2025 accord. This is the previous gen accord, the one that had the 2.0t model that had the Civic type R engine in it from the factory. Slightly detuned of course... I test drove a 2024 model, and while I'm not too excited for how it looks visually on the outside, nor not having a V6 option, I will say that it moves surprisingly quick for a car with 204 HP. This is because it's part electric. Think about how fast ALL of the Teslas and other fully electric vehicles are. The electric vehicles have their power almost available right from the start vs having to build up to that point (reach a certain RPM etc). The HP being available much sooner from when the gas pedal is it on electric vehicles makes them faster for their HP, even though they tend to be heavier due to the big batteries they carry. In other words, an electric vehicle with 450 HP will be faster than a fully gas powered vehicle with 450 HP. This same concept carries over to vehicles who are part electric, just not on the same level as the vehicles who are fully electric.
