- A Fan Game a decade in the making...
You are an intern for the DSA (Dimensional Security Agency), a massive group which ensured the stability of all the multiverses, until a sudden containment breach which occurred just a week before your employment. The DSA is attempting to contain a massive rift which a mysterious monster has escaped through, and have built a massive building themed around the subjects supposed habitat in order to lure it out. However, the unstable rift starts to spew monsters from other realities into the establishment, and threaten the operation. It is your job to keep the rift secure, and the establishment safe, while the DSA can run experiments and try to capture the monster.

I think the idea that your essentially getting all the characters from your old games from when you were younger on scratch, and putting them into one game where they get new redesigns and full 3d models is fantastic! Can't wait to see this game when it's finished, and remember to take your time.

there's just something really sweet about this. taking all the characters you made from your childhood and essentially giving your younger self the amazing fangame he always dreamed of making. really cool to see you bring these characters back to life, im excited!

Despite it being called "Into The Mid-Rift," I feel as though this ain't gonna be mid.

This kinda reminds me of the SCP foundation. Both the DSA and the SCP foundation are about security and protection. But the SCP foundation is about security and protection of humanity. The DSA however seems to be a protector of the multiverse.
Also I have a question. Who is subject JMD? Is it:
a: the animatronic from 3807, since we see flesh on him in this trailer.
or
b: Some completely new guy?
Edit: After getting an answer from lore bot (a bot that the into the mid rift discord has to answer lore questions), it turns out Subject JMD is old cherry.

Cherry ( two versions )
Blue boy ( who now has what I think is a AC or a fan ) and is super cool
Toxic foxy ( can’t really see them minus a few details looks weird but when I see the full thing it will probably look better )

blue boy is entirely diffrent from the original version which was a recolored ballon boy they could be there own character
