For real though, This needs to have a feature credit or something in the song for Tommy Lee.
For those complaining that Macklemore did a song with 2Chainz, if you watch the interview with Clinton Sparks on the making of this song, you will learn that Macklemore recorded his part first. He agreed to do a verse for Clinton on this song. Then, Clinton said he had another rapper for the other verse (didn't say who) but he backed out. So then Clinton reached out to 2Chainz and told him he had a record with Macklemore on it. So basically Macklemore had no idea who was on the song. He just did a verse for Clinton. And honestly, that's how a lot of records come together. Usually they don't all get in the studio together.
Bro. Idk what your talking about, yeah that may have happened, but, Mack and Chainz are both in the video together, so theres obviously some type of mutual respect there..you'd be surprised how many in the game actually HAVE respect for eachother, and truthfully MANY people respect 2 Chainz.

I was a Macklemore fan for years, and I was thrilled to see him go big with Thrift Shop and Same Love. But I'm not sure this shit is forgivable. It's a slap in the face to the fans who supported him in the underground. It's just the definition of sellout. It's great that he is famous, but let's hope he makes better decisions from here on out.

I finally understand Gordo from Lizzie Mcguire. I'm not sure why, but this has always stuck with me. I remember an episode of that show, when Gordo liked a particular band that was "underground". All of a sudden the band became popular and Lizzie and the rest of his friends started listening to their music. Gordo disowned the band, getting rid of every piece of merchandise and refusing to listen to them. At the time I thought he was overreacting and just got off on being different. I finally get it now. Its not that he didnt like other people enjoying the same thing he did, or even the fact that he was no longer the "insider". But the fact that when a band becomes popular, main stream for lack of a better term, the original product is ruined. I've recently seen this in two instances. Macklemore and the UFC.

I've never been a big fan of rap it's all bitches, hoes, dough and weed. then someone introduced me to some underground stuff, and i realized it wasn't rap i disliked, it was mainstream rap. So i heard macklemore one day and even his song about thrift shops had more meaning than 99% of other rap songs out there (at least dealing with consumerism). so i listened to more macklemore songs and liked the fact they had some meaning. this is not the macklemore everyone loves. he's better than this crap
