Quick comment about the gameplay presented here: For the first three final fights (Akiyama, Saejima and Kiryu), I really had to "drag my feet", so to speak, to enlengthen the fights to be as long as their appropriate soundtrack lasted. It was all being done completely live, so it took geting a feel for the way the fight goes to get to the final QTEs on time, sort of. Then there's Tanimura's part. I'll admit I wasn't playing in any kind of sophisticated or intelligent manner, but, yeah, that fight is such a grind that I had to make a few cuts here and there to make it on time. Finally, I knew from the start there was no way I could sync full Amon fights to the song's verses. I'm not THAT guy, lol.
The best part? That was the very first time I pulled off that move. After already finishing my NG Legend run. Yeah. Had alot of fun with it in Yakuza 5, though!
@@CptPakundo He's definitely all right, it's just that Yakuza 4 way back on the PS3 was my first Yakuza game, and revisiting it in HD with the new actor feels off to me. I like his voice a lot, I just didn't feel like he captured the "small punk with sophisticated moves" look like Hiroki Narimiya did. Both of them have their merits though. I think you did a really good job in the Tanimura fight -- that one's absolutely not about style like the other three are. I always saw it as a final exam of all of your mental techniques for dealing with multiple opponents as the weakest party member and you pulled it off just fine.
I like the Old Tanimura but I just got so used to the new one. Plus for my opinion his hair (new) looks better. And also I think that the new one got a lot more emotion in his voice. Plus at 14:40 the new one Screams. But the old doesn't. Also, dunno why but he looks kinda weird in that suit with that hair.
Old Tanimura's hairstyle is too generic, new one at least makes him look more distinct Also, the reason why new Tanimura yells at Munakata is because the new VA knows what's happening, most VAs don't know the plot or the context of the scenes while recording so it's sometimes hard for them to use the proper emotions, , but the new VA knows exactly what was happening and understood that Tanimura would be FURIOUS at Munakata
LOVED every second of this, was sitting here with goosebumps on my skin and alongside all the timings of fights and heat actions, it made it just that much better, definite sub and like from me, keep it up
So I tried to do something similar with Kiwami 2: ua-cam.com/video/e9tJ5QYNjGM/v-deo.html And with Judgment, too: ua-cam.com/video/7HFpWf9kzng/v-deo.html
I think Y4 has the most climatic, intense final battle of any Yakuza game. It just screams "HERE WE STAND! HERE WE FIGHT! VICTORY OR DEATH!"
@dudem8guyHow tho
Daigo best emotional boss ever
@@MICHELEMANNO-rm6yx ass pull outta nowhere Yakuza 4 map is goated but the story is so bad I actually want to die
to me it mostly screams "A SELFISH DEED, IS NOT FREEDOM!! EVEN IF IT FALLS DOWN! NOW WALKING AHEAD, WITH PRIDE, TO THE NEXT STAGE!"
@@llukissj1540 It ain't as bad as Kiwami's story, if Nishiki's villain arc wasn't in there it would've been worse than this.

It's still amazing work! Appreciated!
I have never enjoyed Four Faith more than I appreciate it now hearing it in this mix. Thank you, very based.
Really? Four Faith was always the best one for me.
The Essence of Clotheslining against Kido... I felt that in my spine. Damn, man. Saejima's a beast.

Also, 10/10 for playing the remaster with the Tanimura restoration mod. It's just not the same without him.

I kid, I kid. Saw a few clips of the new actor, he's alright.

I loved when they both went balls out all over each other
That sync at 22:22 tho wtf-
22:02 was better imo
This video is it. This is now THE "For Faith" mix to watch that incorporates everything. Fantastic job.
Bro tip: FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, GET THE SACRED WOOD ARMOR FOR TANIMURA FOR THE FINAL FIGHT (complete master training for the first 3 protagonists
"IDFK WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT BUT I FEEL LIKE IM HIM"
-the guy who sang the lyrics
this video just made me notice you can see all 3 fights during tanimuras, thats really cool
Loved it all but especially the Amon/vocal version at the end. Thanks for the hard work!
9.5 out of 10. The missing 0.5 goes to the shit Munataka fight. Best BGM ever.
At start, i thought Arai dropped his clothes a lil bit too hard 💀

Ya gotta go balls out Kido!
All these years later and I still hear, "PROTECT A CAN OF SOUP!"
I just noticed that each version of for faith it's like building up to the original version of it or something like that
No crap, every beat in For Faith has been seperated into 4 music piece for each 4 boss, so yeah this isnt Yakuza anymore, this is Avatar
@@rarenerdw9611 I don't know why I thought you were being rude, sorry
I think it be called FFFF aka four face for faith
22:03
Sick sync.
Fucking epic this is
Kiryu = The Azure Dragon.
Sarjima = The White Tiger.
Akiyama = The Vermillion Bird.
Tanimura = The Black Tortoise.
y4 wll have the best battle themes, but the most forgotten final boss yet
13:57 Narimiya Hiroki
Yakuza 4 IS far to be my fav opus in the series, but man, how i love this song. My fav of the entire saga.
