I don't know but it seems as though Rosa is turning his head. Esse is probably pretty pissed. I mean right in front of her too! Say'n how nice her porcelain dress is and she looks extravagant Compared to Esse, who is nice and simple and not fancy at all, E V E N admiring Rosa's knobs and little hot box RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER! You can't just be play'n with the knobs, be one your way and think everything is gonna be all right, Son. Esse just might decide to deprive you of oxygen in the middle of the night! ;)
Although I suppose you could remove rings from the French top to expose pan bottoms to direct flame, that's not really the intent. The rings, with the slight spaces between them, are to allow expansion and contraction without the top warping. Having a flat top allows the most contact between pan bottoms and the cooking surface.
Convince is not cutting or handling your wood six times. Big fire box that last 8 to 12 hrs.
What size house does the La Nordic heat?
The La Nordica Rosa Maiolica seen here can heat up to 6,533 ft. There's also a larger model, the Rosa XXL, which can heat up to 8,080 ft.

Rosa looks great, but until its UL approved, its not going to be an option for a lot of people. This video was 3 years ago. Have they made any progress getting approval?
There is still no UL listing on the La Nordica stoves.
The LaNordica Rosa L is now UL Approved:) we bought it and its coming next month! We are in the US.
