- I noticed only 1% of people of youtube uploaded this track so I did it myself. I mainly took it from the scene where it had less dialogue and looped it. personally the background effects make the music more tranquil
the moment where Miki smiles, cups her hands together, and fades away... is just... deep... and heartbreaking...

I listen to this for hours on loop everyday
at the end of the day we all can agree. akira had it rough in all of his versions. i love this ending though. as he doesnt fight satan but instead decides to be the bigger man and walk away. akiras stoy was sad and awful being forced to carry the burden of having a demon inside of him. having his loved ones targeted and even losing the love of his life in a brutal way. it makes my heart wanna reach out to akira becaus he didnt deserve that to happen to him. its sad all together and each version i think gives an all around view of him. hes an amazing character and more characters should follow in his footsteps
altho i sliiightly disagree that akira had it roughest (given that the only reason akira is even going thru this is because its all a punishment for ryo, and his personal hell going on for eternity) i also love the ending for this one, its almost bittersweet. like why was he being the bigger man after all of that happened? What was ryo expecting when they stood there staring at each other? A clap on the back? if ryo was expecting or at least hoping for retribution of his actions by akira yelling at him how did he feel after akira didnt give him that one thing after everything? what happened afterwards when akira had watched everybody he loved get killed like what else could be possibly look forward to when the world and everything he loved is in ruins? so many questions left unanswered, which is kind of why i love this ending so much
The saddest part is that akira didn't have a Happy ending,his family died along with the woman he loved it's so sad 😢.
I think it sounds more complete with the background seaside noises. I prefer it this way, I don’t mind that we don’t have a clean soundtrack version.

Akira from Apocalypse was more intense and masculine and definitely gave away more feelings of longing for his loved ones than the Akira from Crybaby.
As someone who loved Crybaby despite it's flaws, i agree.
Cristina Andújar Not really,he was pretty much an edgier version of the original,even Crybaby Akira felt more "natural" than him.
@@fpberserk4690 Edgier than the original Akira? Not even close. Apocalypse of Devilman Akira is a whole lot calmer than the original.
The original showed a lot of anger/hate. Especially as the manga progressed. All three Akiras kept their cool despite their rage. Apocalypse Akira was the calmest one of them all.
@@fpberserk4690 Eh, Crybaby Akira did not feel natural at all. He felt more like a tryhard. After becoming Devilman, he acts like a bad boy who gives no fucks. Acted like he was a hardened man for that one episode.
And then as the series progressed, he stops acting that way. He can't even contain his tears when he gets angry. He cries when he has a heart-to-heart conversation with Miki on the roof.
Crybaby Akira is the most emasculated version of Akira.

I don’t know what u people are even talking about!! Crybaby Akira is seemily the most human of all of the Akiras the whole point (Manga not included here) of him being a Crybaby is to show us his empathy. It doesn’t matter how masculine he really is if we can’t sympathize with him as a character.
I feel like the Akira from this OVA is the real try hard here-almost all he ever does is brood. He’s like Batman with even less humanity. Even his relationship with Miki is flawed since the only screen time they have together is after she dies. I can’t be expected to care about most of these people if they barley interact with one another. That’s just not how character development works!!!
Meanwhile the Akira from the first two OVAs is either completely oblivious or just an asshole, even when his mom “dies” after killing Jinmen he punches a wall and tears up a bit like a child throwing a tantrum. He just didn’t feel like a real person after his transformation at all...

In the early 00's. I was in a dark and lonely place. Amon, Apocalypse of Devilman was my favorite anime and had a huge influence on me. I loved Shoe-gaze and loved the Mangahead soundtrack in this.

@@kengozin for me it was coming to this after devilman crybaby and having an interpretation with closure for miki's death in akira. He lost his tears and in this one he regained them and his human heart was restored.
This reminds me a lot of classic Shin Megami Tensei...but then, you know, SMT is pretty much "if Devilman were an RPG". That said, this is a super peaceful track, I'm loving it, thanks for doing this!

This shows a poor understanding of the series. Yes there was quite a bit of devilman (and violence jack) influence (especially in the early games) but SMT still takes more from various mythologies than it does from Go Nagai's works.
Saying that SMT is devilman:the rpg is like saying that Devilman is just a manga adaptation of the Divine comedy.

I believe that if Satan was trapped in an endless time loop then the events of Amon The Apocalypse of Devilman is also canon. Even Crybaby is another event.
it seems likely, the loop is also broken at the end of devilman:Lady.
Too bad Violence Jack wasn't cannon because it was just a spin-off and it was the first happy ending to devilman but nope it's not cannon but it would have made sense that Akira won the war, but the damages we're to late explains why Violence Jack is apocalyptic, you know Violence Jack is not cannon but devilman lady is more of a light ending.

Fernando Rosales but if you read shin Violence Jack the manga sequel the earthquake were caused by demons trying to get out of hell.
And Violence Jack is Akira Jack turns into Devilman at the end of the manga. it's part of the loop.

Don't worry, you have a good ending in Devilman Lady, a direct sequel to this series.
And you will know the reason why Lucifer / Satan really really hate God.
Later in Devilman Lady, Satan & Akira Fudo will fight God together.

Fate can be so dang cruel especially when it comes to life but not everything is a bad despite it most wrost the lost knowing how he been going through I'm deeply feel sorry for him especially have the demon inside of him I'm praying for the life he someday get back without going all that S@#$ he gone through in the past.

didnt like the art style in Amon The Apocalypse of Devilman- it looked nothing like the previous 2 installments, resembled more of a modern beat em' up video game-anime adapatation......
That is because the animation and story were made by another studio, since the one that adapted the previous two ovas went bankrupt, failing to animate the true third ova.
Still, I heard that the script of that third part is on the internet.
The orange light reflecting the waves. And than the ball drops and everyone does. I'ma cry.
