Karolina, I don't know if you will read all theses comments but I have to say that by your game, your technique, your fighting spirit (specially against N°2 in semi final!), your sportsmanship and your beautiful personality during all this Roland Garros 2023, you bring joy to a lot of people around the world and give them so much inspiration.
Seeing you playing like you play and convert desesperate situations to glorious victories remind us that's nothing is lost as long as we keep fighting. And for theses things, for me, you are the true winner of this Roland Garros.

I discovered her in fall 2019. She's my very favorite player from back then. Her Federeresque style of play is unparalleled among women, her forehand and volleys are work of art.

You're right, Federer's game was beautiful to watch like that.

W takich sytuacjach serce się kraje, jestem fanem Igi, ale kurde była swietna i gdy w jakimś turnieju Iga odpadnie wcześniej, będę trzymał kciuki za Karolinę
Mam dokładnie to samo. Gdy Iga miała pierwszego seta i w drugim wygrywała 3-0 nawet nie zauważyłem kiedy zacząłem kibicować Karolinie 🤣. Robiłem to chyba dość skutecznie. Fantastyczna zawodniczka. Życzę Jej samych sukcesów.

Jednak prestiż wygranych naszych polskich sportowców, dla mnie liczą się podwójnie. Dla nich kariera i pieniądze, dla nas, Polaków, honor i radość. No dobrze...

I guess she´s not crying just about the loss it´s self but for the multiple emotions that they go through in that special moment, and place. You know, Iga cried the moment she won. So Muchova must also be joyfull to be there, as a semifinalist. That´s no little achievement for anyone.

Im a huge fan of Iga and very happy that she won. Muchova is a worthy opponent. She played exceptionally well and would root for her if Iga is not in the tournament. I like her speech. She seems very kind.
Thanks for the video of her speech. She is a classy lady, excellent tennis player, I expect to see her in more finals and hopefully doing a victory speech. It was nice to see Chris Evert console her and you could see Amelie knew how she was feeling too. I loved Karolina's last interview when she was asked by a French journalist did she ever think about playing the power game like everyone else when things were going badly a while back, she said no she wanted to continue playing her style of tennis and didn't want to be like everyone else. I really hope she wins at least one Grand Slam in her career, that would make me very happy.

Grzes Jak to sie stalo, Iga byla jakby placzaca, ze przegrala. a Karolina z radosci podniosla rece do gory i przerwano transmisje. Wygladalo to, jakby Iga przegrala!? A tu widze, ze puchar ma Iga?
Teraz jeszcze raz obejrzalem 3-ci set i widze wyraznie wygrana Igi. Widocznie wczoraj ogladalem inny mecz Igi z Muchowa, nie zwracajac uwagi, gdzie on sie odbywal. Przepraszam.

Karolina Muchova is a great player, her technique, range of different shots, tactic are better than of Iga. Actually I don't know how Iga did manage to win the match, because in the 3rd set I thought already that she will lose it.
But me as a Pole I don't like how the French croud reacted during the match. I understand you may support the underdog, but applauding and shouting when Iga made a mistake or double serve foult is for me strange and unsporty. Shame on you.
You don't get it do you ? The French don't consider people like you Poles European. To them you're not European. When the French or Western Europeans say European they are talking about people of Western Europe. Eastern Europeans are not European.
