probably not, as far as i can see ammo resting in the loading cylinder isnt held down, so any kind of turning via gyros will shred the inside if the gun

I made a sort of computer with a load of timer blocks so that you could salvo them in different ways, and switch torpedo types and stuff, it is extremely extremely cool, I also had a stabilised, ship tracking targeting camera which is also very cool but I couldnt really integrate them just because of the limits of how SE works
I was thinking, would putting one Gatling on it allow it to suppress an enemy while reloading and act as a sort of tracer for shots. Mostly for/as a tracer

Do pistons guns only work with small block mechanisms? I tried several attempts at all large block piston guns, but if you put too much tension, the piston heads rip off. If you have enough, but the projectile would be propelled at greater than 110, the mechanism will suffer massive damage, almost total destruction. With a low enough setting, the object will be launched, but not faster than 110.
I have wanted to intergrate a piston gun in a "small" scale tank for quite a while. I have already made versions that use a engineer to load the projectiles, but for repeat fire for bracketing and follow up shots this is relatively slow. So then i started trying diffrent magazine designs for autoloaders (chain, strips, carrousel) and i found that the carrousel worked quite good and can be made quite compact. I made a couple versions previously but those were very unreliable. Only after the event blocks came out i could make it reliable enough to show on youtube. Ofcourse i also had real life autloader tank designs in mind as part of the inspiration.
Hey T, could you make a tutorial on the missile you made please? The so called tutorials I found, are a little confusing. I follow their directions but the missiles fail. I can’t figure out what I am doing wrong. I am trying to drop missiles from my little scout atmospheric ship. But the hydrogen engines fail to ignite, or they fall to the ground. I will see the engines fire but it will start heading to the target but hit the ground way before it gets there, like it is too heavy. But I built them exactly the way their tutorials showed. Theirs work mine kind of does but mostly doesn’t. I have the hydro engines for both x and y axis and two forward hydro thrusters. I would appreciate a tutorial, advice or would you happen to have that missile posted on the workshop? I am trying to drop it from a wing instead of a static grid. Thank you kindly in advance. 😇🫡🫡🫡🫡. I love the vids I have seen btw. They are very cool. I am two months old in SE. your vids have inspired my imagination by knocking the cobwebs in the old attic. 😱😅😂😁🤣
