    Wow, thank you very much !! It is a great tutorial!!I had been stuck in this figure for a while, and now I am starting to achieve it :) As a self-taught cigarbox juggler, I really appreciate to find good and detailed tecnique tutorials.... We want more! and more difficult tricks!

    Great! Liked the clear explanation...slow and basic at first (leaving only 1 box on display). Most helpful advice about making sure the left side is “clear.” Variations at end are inspiring.

      Haha I saw this in the edit, if I had done the spin one second earlier he would have been hidden behind the car for the mask transition. Good eye!

    Do you have a tip for that the boxes stick together by the normal pirouette other than line of pressure... I still can't do that one sadly

    • @EricBates
      @EricBates  4 роки тому

      Sure. It's going to help having good boxes first of all- if they're not flat on the ends there's not much to do. Second, try using your legs to help smooth the throw- let the arms do the fine tuning at the end but most of the lift will come from your legs/ body. After that, make sure as you release the boxes your hands are letting go smooth and keeping that pressure gently inwards- if you start to turn early it's easy to pull/ jostle the boxes by accident. This is where drills like throwing them and clapping your hands comes in handy, to just focus on that throw before trying to add the pirouette. Are any of those tips helping?

      Helped greatly. One of my biggest problems was that I wanted to turn and with that gave the boxes a spin in one direction so they would spread apart and away. Still happens sometimes but with practices it will get rarer and rarer
