  • The Stomatology Service of Hospital São José (CHULC) in cooperation with the Center for Autoimmune Diseases of Hospital Santo António dos Capuchos (CHULC) produced a video with stretching exercises for the face and neck that can help prevent and improve patients with Systemic Scelorsis.
Scleroderma is a rare disease of autoimmune origin, that is, caused by the individual's own immune system attacking some of their organs, making them rigid, by fibrosis. The facial skin is often affected, with loss of elasticity with limited capacity for some movements, such as opening the mouth, with an impact on quality of life.
