I saw Albert last november 2023 at a small venue (maybe 250 seats) after seding him on UA-cam for awhile and he was much better than i expected him to be...Albert lit that place up,they ptobably had to get roof repairs done when he left! Ive seen Johnny Winter(my hero) Buddh Guy,Tab Benoit and i know a guitar player when i see one and he is an absolute Beast and a very nice guy as well
Holy shit! I just heard Jimmy thackery for the first time,I'm already a Walter trout fan and now this,I am a happy assed camper!! The Blues are safe !!!
Me too ! Only just discovered today 30Jun17 after being addicted to Blues for 30 years ! What the hell ? Why did it take so long to discover ??? BLOWN AWAY !!!!
another winner from ALBERT . You gotta see him live ! seen him 17 times since 2005 - One of my all time favorites ... right up there with Clapton, Buddy Guy, Joe Bonamassa, KWS, Pat Travers, Roy Buchanan - you get the drift !!!!
Why had I not heard of him before a couple yrs ago when I seen him play a free show, he got up there and as a Guitar player myself I instantly knew when he started playing that he was going to tear it up one end and out through the other, Ill admit it I cried. I can't help it, It reminded me of when I was 9 and went to see BB King, and made me miss SRV
@@ronaldpokatiloff5704 Its About taste man , dosent have to do with popularity , gary moore is also very popular , clapton , hendrix , jimmy page , Srv they are popular but they are the best...
Hands down, my favorite musician. If I only had half his talent I would die a happy man. For now, I will just use Albert as inspiration to practice more.
Thank you so much for promoting this brilliance in the REAL hifi bitrate it demands. Wouldn't it be great if every uploader had the same respect? Cheers
John Catron he reminds me alot of Stevie Ray Vaughn. But smoother. didn't think that was possible, srv is my all time favorite but Albert is a close second.
Saw him at The Strand in Hudson Falls, New York in 2019. Was not disappointed. Great show and a very nice guy. Met him after the show. If you get a chance to see him, GO!!!!
Saw and met him at the Bull Run in Shirley, Ma. Never mind he's over-the-top talented on the guitar and has killer pipes, the dude is very friendly and down to earth. Plays one song after another for his whole gig, not to mention a lengthy encore to boot. Lots of energy to his performance.
@@lightcaesar but it’s played without dynamics, style, feel, groove, and subtlety, which are all necessary to play blues right. You obviously know nothing about blues, or even music. Run back to your armchair old one, and leave music to those who wouldn’t ruin it, you dumbass
Albert Cummings defines the electric blues.....I have all his CD's but have never seen him live. He's among the best at playing blues guitar.....make that fender scream for us, Albert
I heard this so g for the first time either on Facebook or instagram and i was fell in love with the riff, the style and the intensity of his voice he puts into the song. There is an SRV influence in his playing for sure.
Vox wah-wah, an Ibanez tube screamer TS-9, and a Klon Centaur pedal. There’s also a Boss tuner in there, a Holy Grail reverb, and a Boss Digital Delay - This was his gear before (around 2005), now he uses Goran pedal (one of the best od pedals, so they say)
Al Cummings comes from a long line of house builders in Massachusetts. when work was slow, he hit the local music circuit. You could almost sense him pounding nails while playing the guitars to their limits. He's gotta be a good carpenter because his hands and fingers wouldn't be so agile at his music gigs. As far as I know, he's only put out a few records. He came to play in Las Vegas, and it was then I noticed he looks a lot like one of the local county commissioners. Put on Tom Collin's hat, and he'd be a DEAD RINGER. the dude sure can play (Albert Cummings). check out the vibes of Albert Castiglia, with a like vibe for the blues tunes
Utterly fantastic Blues - Thank you Don. Any chance of gossip on upcoming acts for 2013? Heres some suggestions - Trent Romens / Gary Clark Jnr / Taddy Porter / Eric Steckell / Ryan McGarvey / Tom Hambridge / Jimi Barbiani ..... You know where I am coming from - Young super talented Blues Rockers with a lot of originality, soul drive and presence. Keep up the great work - Look forward to the next shows

so much DYNAMIC POWER and EMOTIONS!!! Love it 👏👏👏
him and Walter trout is the best 😊
This is the first time I'm seeing Albert Cummings. AWESOME!

Check out Joe Bonamassa. He's up there, too. Albert is one of a kind though. A master.
never heard of him but I do now what a power house of a bluesman
What an awesome blues! Thanks for sharing!
Just discovered Mr Cummings. OMG. Brilliant, brilliant, brilliant. Albert you are a blues genious.
Randomly heard this guy on Pandora.
I feel so much the influence of the best bluesmen ever existed in his music.
First of all, Mr S Ray Vaughan.
Me too ! Only just discovered today 30Jun17 after being addicted to Blues for 30 years ! What the hell ? Why did it take so long to discover ??? BLOWN AWAY !!!!
He makes your body move, WOW...
Albert, you inspired me to get better when I was VERY sick recently. Love you forever.
(Hi Christina!)
Thought that strat was gonna jump out of his hands and run off stage ,back to the tree it was born on, pure fire.
How could it get better than this?
mindtouchone well, if I could do it. That'd make me happy.

your selection is based mostly on popularity, mine is based on talent: gary moore, dave hole, tony spinner, and more

WOW! Too die for!!!
Thank you for keeping the blues alive God bless great music

Class B bluesman with a Class A Attitude...

The best blues. Very good.
Tearing It Up! SRV Style
Not SRV's style of blues. Very different. You're thinking of the 80s Nashville style of Blues. This is blues rock fusion.
Excellent stuff.😁
😊😎🎸🇬🇧🇺🇦
Saw this guy recently at the Lancaster Roots and Blues festival and he blew the roof off, fantastic show.
Great stuff...Albert Cummings threading the chords
Toller Song!!!
Robin Trower comes to mind when I hear ya play.
John Catron he reminds me alot of Stevie Ray Vaughn. But smoother. didn't think that was possible, srv is my all time favorite but Albert is a close second.

Saw Albert by accident over ten years ago. Amazing. Great find for me.
Blues is the blood of life.
That’s not blues. It’s rock marketed as blues.
