Bamanghal Hedavi Beach & Velneshwar Beach

Welcome to all my viewers, this video is all about the Hedavi. Hedavi is a small village located near the town of Guhanagar in the Konkan region of Maharashtra. It is primarily a pilgrim destination and attracts a lot of pilgrims from across the country.
The Hedvi Ganesh temple is situated just 10 kilometres to the south of the beautiful seashore of Velneshwar. It is said that the Peshwas gave 1 lakh rupees to build this temple in those days.
The idol of the Hedvi Ganesh is popularly known as ‘Shri Dashabhuja Lakshmi Ganesh’ i.e. lord Ganesha with ten arms. This idol made out of pure marble is said to be created in Kashmir. You can see Nagraj around the idol’s neck and Goddess Lakshmi sitting on his left lap. Lord Ganesh is holding the weapons like Trishul, Dhanushya, Gada, Chakra, Shankha and Parshu in his hands. Along with that he is holding a lotus, a broken tooth, a grain paddy and a modak (Momo) in other hands.
This symbolic idol of the worrier and protector Lord Ganesh can rarely be seen anywhere else.
Hedvi beach is also famous for its serene features and a large black monolith called the Bahman Ghal about 35 feet high is one of the prime attractions of the beach.
