Best hunting blind build ever!! I am a handyman and do construction and finish carpentry, and in my area I would estimate materials for this build around 2,600. I love how the whole family helped! That blind is truly a piece of Art! There will be memories made in there that will last a lifetime! Thanks for sharing
That is an amazing build. Glad to see you had the whole family involved. Those little fellas will remember that for life. A lot of good memories will be made there. Congrats to you and your family.
Nice build. I never considered a deck. Does it get used? Or is it like the playground I built for my daughter - it took me longer to make then she was in it.
Duane or Martha, the last comment on here was 10 months ago. Someone asked you if you had the plans and you indicated you did. I'm hoping you find my comment on this outdated video as I would really like the plans as well, you did an excellent job!
Hi Nate - I posted the plans to this address that you can download from: spaces.hightail.com/space/VoDNi8qNxw. There were adjustments made during the actual building of the blind which we never went back into the plans to correct, so please keep that in mind that these numbers and materials are approximate just for planning. Have fun!

Awesome job! If I could afford to build one exact to yours I would. Lumber costs about roughly how much did it cost.. if you don't mind me asking? Also bravo to the way you hoisted it in position.
Nice sir, what a great family project! Do you have plans or a drawing you could share with me .so I can possibly Build a few of these. Man what nice hunting stands. Thanks

Terrific design! I'm thinking of using this design to build a backyard fort for my daughter. Do you think the stairs necessary for stability? I'd prefer a ladder because a ladder would be more fort-ish. Thanks so much for sharing!!
@@jamespruitt6718 I am now a fair weather hunter. Rain and freezing my a** off is no longer as much fun when I was 25. It's a great stand. I put a camo skirt on the rails. You build it in an afternoon. It is easily moved. I have a 12 foot trailer, 40 acres of land and I can move it myself on level ground. I am 76. Thanks for asking.
Questions for the dislikers: Are you against biologically sound wild fish and game management? Are you against providing food for peoples families as has been done since prehistoric times? Are you against providing funds for fish and game management through licenses and special taxes? Thats where the money comes.from as you dont seem to realize. Are you against some of the healthiest meat on the planet? Are you against enjoying the outdoors?
That is by far the best Deer Blind I ever seen.... Just Gorgeous!!!
Thank you!

It makes it easier to get in and out of the blind. Also trimming the pines is easier.
Awesome project with the family. Also great choice of music :). Good luck deer season !!!
Best one I’ve seen ! Bravo 👍
Amazing blind fellas
Very nice video! Thankyou I enjoyed it!

Very nice! Me and my dad are making 1 for the upcoming deer season almost identical to yours, just a shorter version. Great vid, thanks.

Lance McCoy I do not know the total. It was not cheep.
Great job how much $ and time did you have in this
We worked on it over a two-week period. Not sure what the total cost was.It wasn’t cheap.

You do not need the stairs at all for stability. A latter would be fine and definitly make it more adult proof.
Big League kudos! Beyond my pay grade so I play with Academy Sport 10 foot Tripod stands that are like a life size erector set. Bonum Venatione!!
oneyetiger I’ve been looking at getting one of those this week. How are you liking it?
