McLaren and Lando need to grow up and start competing as red bull is doing now and as Mercedes did in 2021, otherwise they'll keep on loosing race wins as they are doing now. That's assuming they're aiming for the title, of course.
My worry with upgrades when it comes to Ferrari is that they don't seem to be particularly good at bringing updates that add performance in the manner Mclaren and Red Bull and even Mercedes seem able to do. The SF-24 seems to have gone backwards ever since the upgrade package. I hope they can make some sense of everything this weekend...
From what i understand of this cars as Mercedes once said, it is VERY easy to step on eggs with these regs, fall on traps and etc when trying to bring performance! Mercedes been strugling up until now with upgrades, just recently getting the hang of it, thiugh they could still make mistakes and fall on traps

Everyone complementing haas now, but that car was good from the start of this season. So that car would be designed mainly under gunthers watch, yes it's been developed well but the concept, chassis and aero phyoshpy would be done last year.

I think everyone forgets about the issue Haas had last year. They were a quick car but they have struggled with tyer deg and ferrarri has improved their tyer deg which benefits has as they buy all components they can.
Fact check: Russell was 15 seconds behind the leading pair, not 10 seconds. Thought to mention that because 5 seconds is a considerable amount of time around a track like Austria. Other than that, cool video once again :)
they take Daniel's feedback very seriously and he seems to provide more in depth, accurate and valuable feeback regarding the handling of the car compared to Yuki, it only makes to me, that after a while, Daniel's feedback helps them optimize the car, especially for him, but I could be wrong, idk.

It shows how much the Paddock and press like to keep their buddies in the right spot. Some are protected, like Steiner and the heavily under performing Vowles while other are persona non grata.

considering that mercedes was about 0.25 behind max/lando on race pace in austria, a big upgrade package is defininetly needed, especially if mclaren and redbull are bringing more pieces. a new floor and revised sidepods are also definitely needed considering the new flow of air from the front wing has yet to be optimised, leading to even further gains from the rear wing and beam wing combo. 2.5 tenths in one package is tough, but not impossible.
It's their freaking suspension (Ferrari btw). They run it a bit softer than all the other teams. It works over bumps e.g Monaco but not so well in high speed but it preserves their tyres as well. It's a win lose with that suspension
Red Bull still has the edge over the rest of the field. However, there is a question mark for Merc upgrades....Nobody knows what exactly they are bringing so.....
I think we’re starting to see the downsides of the Honda engine. Red Bull was so far ahead aero wise that they just needed a reliable engine. It’s to the point that everybody is so close with the aero, that I think engine might start being the difference again.
I thought Alpines have some new front wings as well?? Them and Haas will fight for the last few point scoring places..those midfield battles are actually very entertaining

The FIA refused to enforce Their own rule, So RedBull has now built their own version of what McClaren and Mercedes (and now Ferrari too) are doing to skirt the flexation rule on the nose wing. Its not a performance ceiling, its been getting caught out on a creative loophole that Others sniffed out first. Here comes the same insane advantage they have been able to enjoy for the last several years..... Thank You F1 for creating the impetus to fight harder and not become complacent!
Do you have any idea as to why Perez is doing absolutely bollocks compared to Verstappen? From Bahrain to Miami, he has been within 300ms of Verstappen, even being less than a tenth in Japan. I feel like something is up because you don't go from qualifying highly consistently to struggling to reach Q3.

In Austria, they lost 3 tenths only in the last sector because of the bouncing. If they sort it out, they sure will gain a bit.
