I can't be the only one who thinks this song is about game of thrones, I mean "mother of dragons will rise"? "From the wall of the north"? Even the name "stormborn"? ... And there is just so more references, ah I love bloodbound even more now, awesome song/songs

It's not a Sabaton copy. Just have almost the same style. Is Astral Doors a DIO copy, Civil War a Sabaton copy, or every symphonic metal with female singer Nightwish copy??? NO!!! Just have the same style that bands have to bring across the time! There are have to be more bands like this!!!
I wouldn't say the same but definitely similar, yeah. Sick of "rip off" being thrown around. It especially stings with bands like Astral Doors and Axl Rudy Pell

Yeah, same here, for a half hour support set they were fantastic. Got the crowd moving more than Alestorm I thought. Real good night, both Bloodbound and Sabaton were amazing.

I remember when Bloodbound was a cool band and they sounded like no particular band. Now they are suddenly a tribute band to Sabaton -.-
Haha i was gonna say the same thing. Definitely some Sabaton influence and even some Powerwolf in some of the songs on this album.
Haven't heard the new singer and CD. So this was a surprise for me. Holy cow they sound a lot like Sabaton. But with a better singer haha xD

This new vocalist has more in common with Eldritch than Sabaton. Go watch Eldrich's Everything's Burning video, then compare the vocalists. The rest of the music does fit more with Powerwolf & Sabaton as mentioned by everyone else.

I don't remember that Bloodbound, and I've heard all their albums. Even their debut borrowed heavily from Iron Maiden. I care less about absolute originality and more that they don't sell out again with the bullshit hair metal meets arena rock that they put on their 2012 album.

Tabula Rasa was their best, most progressive and most original album while the one before it was decent.
Their first album and every album after tabula rasa is absolute generic power metal drivel.
Harry Dresden I love Tabula Rasa and wouldn't argue that they lost it after that, but I think the debut has great songwriting despite its unoriginality. Though, I may just be a sucker for Urban Breed's vocals.

The debut album has decent writing, but it sounds like Iron Maiden. I still like it because it is the GOOD side of cheese. Its the kind of lightweight cheese you would want to put on the radio when you are speeding through the highway.
Book of Dead is awful bullshit. IDK how you go from decent stuff to...that.
Tabula Rasa is the pinnacle of the band. Great songwriting, great compositions, great lyric, brilliant vocals.
Post-Tabula Rasa, though, is shit I would expect from drivel like Rhapsody of Fire or something.
And yeah, Dresden Files is great. Stormfront is just the tip of the iceberg. You have absolutely no idea what you've gotten yourself into xD

I love Bloodbound, a lot. I got the signed Stormborn album (preordered it) because I had such faith in them to deliver... it's not my favourite of theirs. I like it, but it's not anything special.

Too much Tabula Rassa fanboys... and in my opinion it was their worst album. I love themes like Moria, Monstermind, Drop the Bomb, Screams in the Night, Book of the Dead, Midnight Sun or Flames of Purgatory.
Those are cool, but sound all the same, kinda generic, too. I still listen them, but Tabula Rasa and Nosferatu are my favourites. I've known this band for about 5 years now, and I've gradually grown to like Tabula Rasa the most.
