Jeff was a great guy, with an uncanny sense of humor, I miss him, worked at The Rat got to know him and Steve well, went to Max's with them in 77 to open for The Fast, had a ball, also Jeff had a tryout with Ramones when Tommy left, Jeff Wilkinson RIP.
I typed in Nervous Eaters for shits and giggles....Wow...talk about memories. I'm originally from Beverly and moved away in 1980. My dad's cousin was the drummer, Jeff Wilkinson. We used to visit my dad's aunt and I can remember seeing Jeff's drum kit down in the cellar...
Do you happen to know the name of the lead guitar player in this clip? It seems that the lead guitar spot changed quite a bit. This guy is great and fits their sound so well.
old buddy of mine has video of the Eaters and the Hoods from a nite at the Rat from 78-79 , wish he would somehow get it on here , love to see it , was there that nite !
I never heard of them, but grew up listening to my older brother's LP by Steve Cataldo titled Saint Steven from 1969 - Great Rock and Roll! Got the CD of it a few years ago. Still have the Vinyl too. check it out!
Saw them LAST NIGHT,(That's my Vid above; Doesn't do the Performance justice; You had to BE there.) Man, I expected a VERY GOOD show, but it was JAW-DROPPING!!! MORE Vids today.............
Met Nervous Eaters early November '77 when they played with Ramones. Jeff Wilkonson and Dee Dee Ramone were really cool to me!
Jeff Wilkinson the original drummer in this band was one of my good friends growing up in Beverly, MA. It's a shame he passed on so young.
Jeff was cool to us at Nervous Eaters/Ramones November 1977. He autographed Loretta for me.

This makes me think of the Yardbirds. (That's not something I get to say too often.)
Steve Cataldo - GENIUS!!!

The album with the teeth marks was a must have in my part of the world. Is that Laquadera at the begining? Think so. How about Talk To Loretta?
yep...I would guess that's Charles........(although Matt Siegel was the original host I believe)
Love it, Love it
Fucking legends.
the new rose sausage record. a bad but a very good one!
Im from Beverly. What was the lineup at this point? Was'nt Asa Brebner in this band at one time?
Does anyone know who is playing lead guitar in this clip?
that's Billie Loosigian. He's been in many lineups. Was in the Boom Boom Band with Willie "Loco" Alexander.
Kick ASS
