I have no doubt it will be cleaned , detailed, and sent to a car lot somewhere in the midwest and sold as if nothing ever happened to it. Just as so many flooded vehicles from Florida are each year.
Judging off of the tag I thank it’s from Mexico
I think I got one😂
Is a Ford! No problem!!
Pulling backwards would make a lot more sense or big forklift would do the job but hey you know what you doing
oman
Although you do work hard, regardless, you are the apparent king of "work smarter, not harder..."
Once again, you make it look so easy. That's the unmistakable sign of a true professional. Well done!
We have learned from past jobs in this exact hole
That it’s not as easy as it looks
And this quick sand is no joke
So we came prepared and knew to rig for a hard pull the first time around
As a old school heavy wrecker man always love your rigging and use of dead mans.
You make this stuff look incredibly easy! I've been watching all the major recovery channels for about 1.5yrs now. Let's just say Matt's off road recovery and some others could learn from you when it comes to getting vehicles out of bad situations like this one when it's suctioned in.
I've seen channels use 2-4 vehicles and snatching blocking off trees, etc, or saying how the boom is the only good option to break suction.
I have Soo much respect for you and your talents, as you are the only channel that has a single jeep, single person crew (and your wife for filming of course) manage to accomplish what the others do with 5x the equipment, 5x the staff, and major struggles. You just roll in with a single rig, think out how to do the rigging and snatch it out.
I'm impressed!
Keep up the good work!
The land anchor and winching under your jeep was a really nice trick. Well done.
One of the many useful things about a land anchor
I agree! Badass
All I have to say is this young man I’ve been watching your videos for at least three years you do amazing work I do similar stuff than you but only a side work and I live in Virginia I never would’ve thought a jeep gladiator could do the things I’ve watched you do with that jeep that’s all I have to say keep doing what you’re doing young man you make me proud so I know your father is!!!! You just show that anything can be accomplished with the right mindset if you’re ever near Virginia I live in a place called Glennallen I would love to show you some southern hospitality sir!!!
I've been watching this channel since he had like 1300 followers
Young man lol this mfker looks 40
@@alexeatonexploresamerica5511wanna cookie
I been watching since he had 777 followers
@@theSkavenger84 I've been watching since 10 minutes ago!
This was the first time I said "no way"! You proved me wrong. Your skill level is off the charts!
The land anchor is pretty cool, when I was in South America, we used to have to bury a tire.
While that sounds pretty easy, it's not. I also really love the tethered chock blocks, simple ideas like that, really make the recoveries go a lot smoother than they could.
I know I have at least one chock Block still buried in the mud up on a mountain trail somewhere.
That’s why we drive forward and pull them out 😂 they do get stuck stuck in there
It gets expensive real losing stuff... ;-)@@matt.mckinzie
That is some creative use of force multipliers. Also creating rear wheel stops and the "land anchor". Very creative.
yeah the computers are soaked it's a right off the electronics are done to expensive to replace all the wiring and computers in it better off getting a new one
Every time I think I have seen all of your tricks, you post another video and whip out another one! 🤣 Nice job, brother!!
That was a heck of a pull. I love what you do with running the multiple lines to reduce the load. Learn a lot watching your videos, Thanks
If you don’t
You over strain your winch motor and break lines
I appreciate you Matt. You are a Man that's not afraid to work and get dirty. I wish you great success, my friend!
Thanks
I used to subscribe to most of the recovery channels on here but I have unsubscribed them all except you because the rest are either incompetent and or exploiting people and their arrogance goes unchallenged. You on the other hand are the real deal and your skill is unsurpassed. Great channel showing true skills.
Same here. They think they're UA-cam content stars and have turned into buffoons. The brainless watch them so they'll keep their channel. Matt's (FL) all about the job and not clowning around.
No Matt's Offroad Recovery?????? Blasphemy!!!!!
@@mountainman5025 😄
Some people are out towing for profit but others like myself do it for free.
Finally I have found a recovery channel that uses physics to their advantage instead of hooking up one winch direct to a load and complaining about how recovering vehicles is stressing their equipment.
In AIT, the Army teaches mechanics how to rig winch lines. You had to in order to pull hemmitts, 5 tons, tanks and others out of the mud.
I was Engineer 92F, Fueler, driving the MEMMET Tanker rig, awesome 8x8.
HETT driver here💪🏽
Wow I was betting that the land anchor was just going to pull right under the jeep. Impressive job.
Its amazing what angles, leverage and a lot of know how can do! Great job!
I had one of those factory tow hooks snap off once, until that moment i had never seen a snatch block float through the air, thankfully hit the boom. Great job!
Mud & quicksand slow & steady pressure I've seen too many people hurt because they try to do by yanking them out and break all kinds of things that go flying all-over
Exactly!
I can tell you this if you have the right people filming your videos in the right commentary you would be bigger than Matt off road recovery and you’re going to get there one day because you do a lot better work with a lot less equipment Respect love and thunder from Virginia!!!
He will be a long time catching Matt. I'm afraid he's more of a "one trick pony". All he ever does is winch, winch, winch. It gets old after awhile.
I watch them both, as long as you get the client out, the job is done. Honestly, I prefer winching, because I've never been one for using snatch straps. Mostly because of the terrain I'm used to. @@hhl31636
@@hhl31636 he's no where near the scale as Matt, but he's just taking us along for his day job
True professional. Awesome job!
Thanks
Hell of a piece of rigging, good work man
Good job! I think you have done this before...🤣🤣🤣
Our first time 😂 total rookie here
Mr Matt Awesome rigging and video. Thanks for sharing and stay safe
They got some kind of recovery challenge out in Utah I am sure he could teach those people some stuff
Although I’m sure we could
We are just to busy with work to go out there at this time
@@matt.mckinzie exactly what I figured family first
@@bradwilliams5242 we do roughly
60 recovery’s a month
Not all jobs make it to UA-cam tho
I've never seen those wheel chocks before, what a great idea!
Hell yeah man!!! Awesome job on that rigging.
Thanks
The last one here kicked our butt so we pulled out all the stops first time around on this one
Well done sir! It’s a pleasure to watch someone who REALLY knows their business! 😉
Great job utilizing a land anchor, I myself understand the value of having one.✌️😉
Another great recovery!
Hey this is cool! I’ve been watching Matt’s off-road recovery out west for a while! It’s cool you are doing this in Florida my home state!
Hey neighbor, well now you know who to call if you ever find yourself in a ditch!
Great use of the blocks and tackle brother!
A local garage sent their tow truck all the way to Illinois to pull a pickup out of a mud hole and bring it back. He payed almost $600 for the tow.
Hey new to your channel!! Never saw that land hook !! That thing was in there tight but you pulled that with raw unbridled power!!! Never saw snatch blocks used like that!! Good job!!😍😍😍
Nicely done I learned something new from this video thanks
Outstanding job, that truck was almost a permanent feature in that puddle, well done Sirs 👍💪
I had my doubts but damn that was impressive. Enjoyed it thanks
Love seeing a good rigging setup!
Good use of the anchor too
That was a nasty hole. Good recovery.
It has sent a lot of vehicles to the auction yard
One hell of a lot of pull. That hook up on the ford chassis is tough.
Well done.
You do more with that gladiator than I’ve seen others do with larger rigs
Ver nicely done, snatch blocks are awesome!
You Folks have the Experience. BRAVO Well Done!!!
I had my truck stuck in this exact same hole! You think it's a puddle but it's several feet deep. I still have a dent on my front bumper from this. That's the 206 bridge south of St Augustine. I should have put a flag in that hole because it's been more than just the two of us!
We had a sign there to warn people and someone ripped it out
@@matt.mckinzie A tow company perhaps?
@@JohnFL possible
I know at least one of the companies down there don’t like us because we charge $250 to drive the hour and ten minutes there and they are local and charge $800 for that spot
Great Technique, thanks for sharing. greetings from Germany
Nicely done!
Thanks!
Once again Matt showed us with the right equipment and the know-how, on how to get someone out without bring 3 truck and 7 people like some other off road recovery on UA-cam do.
Nice going great content.
Rigging master! Great skill here boys!
Very nice! Thank god for snatch blocks !
Excellent job👍👏
I know right where this is, I'm glad I know about it now!
Awesome job as per usual.
sooooo cold!!! yall rock!!
A job well done. That's an expensive truck ruined.
So awesome how you did that so well with one vehicle and proper gear
That jeeps a UNIT FOR SURE ❤
Excellent work!
I have an identical white F150, how sad this one is now totaled. It looks like it was in great shape too, no rust issues at the cab corners or rockers. I wonder if it wound up at a copart……
Simply Amazing Job Again!
Just try doing some of this with a Habor freight winch 😮
Wow that's awesome that you could actually get it out of the Mud. Was it totalled out / Fixable?????
Great job! 👍😊
Absolutely amazing !
that rigging is impressive boss
Would it have helped any to dig out some in front of that passenger side front tire as it was coming up out of the water to help from bending the front bumper or was it already bent ??
Most impressive work hats off to you
Well done,nice winching techniques!
it’s a good look watching from jamaica 🇯🇲
Pretty sad. Beautiful truck! Hope it ends up getting fixed.
excellent work! Are we really better off with modern tech? My old '78 4x4 with manual hubs, manual trans and transfer case, would have just had to dry off after, no fuss with the water immersion except maybe to repack bearings and change fluids, but you could have driven it away from the site.
everyone else who commented before me has said when I was thinking. -Fantastic job!! just goes to show. It’s not the size of the puddle but how deep it is!!!
good job
You are definitely a pro!
That was amazing!!
Thanks, l learned a lot.
Great job and noticed it's a 505 N.M truck, Samuel in Vegas Nevada 505 born
A lot of mechanical advantage with that pulley array. Nice job.
Never seen your tools before. Thanks
With all the snatch blocks how many thousands of pounds of pull do you think that was?
All the gear and the idea 👍🏻🇬🇧
Good work👏👏👍👍
Super job I'm amazed 👍
Wow, amazing. 💪👍👍
Yes. Florida Matt's winching/rigging recovery skills are probably the best I've seen on UA-cam.👍
Good stuff
very cool techniques
I'd also remove differential vent caps & install sealed "tube type" expansion tanks.
Not my 1st rodeo for waterproofing 4x4 drivetrains. 👍
Watch out for dem gators!! 🐊
what kind of land anchor is that got to get me one of those
Do they make different sizes like To have one for my truck and a smaller one for my RZR
I’d have to check on the sxs size one from Red Ridge industries
This is one of their anchors and is the bigger one
If they don’t have a small small one
Pull pal does
We are testing out the red ridge ones because they are heavier duty and won’t break as easy
Awesome job
That looked looked like a 40k pull. 😱 if you keep doing that with your Jeep you are going to pull that truck in half.
Great Job my good man 👍
One time I had to use a boat anchor, it works good
I like how there is a toyota in the background overseeing everything
That was badass!... 😊
Just incredible recovery.
As much pulling power it takes to get some of the vehicles out that are stuck yeah that jeep gladiator does a good job.
For the heavy recovery and vehicles that are buried and dis abled like the one in the video I think a 3/4 or 1 ton 4x truck with a PTO screw drive winch and the anchor system you have for the Jeep because you can't beat old school and the pulling power of a PTO winch.
Yeah PTO winches are slower than electric winches but you'll never stall them
Well done
Land anchor game changer
Thankyou 😊
It looks to me like it could've used traction boards and a shovel. Maybe a front winch pull.
Seems like a lot of extra measures.
