Sounds like ur ready for her to get up and get outta there. 😅 Back in my day storing stuff away for our daughters it was called a hope chest. My Mom had sheets towels toiletries it was a large chest and it was packed full of stuff I could use in my new place. She said it was fun cause when she would see a bargain she would snatch it up and put it in the hope chest.
I’m not quite ready for her to leave the nest quite yet, but hopefully one day! 😉 I had one of those hope chests you talk of! I think we need to bring those back again! Our parents were very smart and thrifty back then! I’ve just been putting things into a big Rubbermaid container for Megan!🤷♀️

I still do baskets for all my adult kids..Ages 18-28. I do practical items they use too like body wash/skin care. Some candy. Jelly beans in eggs, choc easter bunny-- usually dove or Ghirardelli, then a favorite candy, item from Amazon list. Always a golden egg with $.
Some family / friends tell me Im crazy i still do it. Nope they are still my kids no matter what age.
Hi Sher - Margaret in Quebec I always love seeing the baskets you make . Megan will be so happy I am sure. I have always done a basket for my daughter every year - every holiday (she is handicapped in a wheelchair so she is spoiled. ) She loves them and I try to get things she can do lego, she loves to color so books and markers etc.
She has so much so sometimes you just don't know what to get. Love your videos. Happy Easter to you and your family.

My daughter is married with a 6 year old, and she still gets an Easter Basket. This year she's getting a new purse, I had a puzzle made of a collage of her daughter. And she's getting a few little things with it. My son in law forages for mushrooms (actually, they do it as a family) and loves anything mushroom. So I got him a sampler box of different kinds of mushroom tea. I also got him a mushroom charm to hang from his rear view mirror or in a window, along with some other goodies. And my grandaughter....I recently discovered Temu and got her a new insulated lunch bag for school and used it as a basket. I ummmm, well I bought her too much and it's way overfilled plus a little wicker purse that's overfilled, plus at least a couple dozen filled plastic eggs. She's not spoiled, grammy is just extra. Lol

She was just 13…holy cow!!..this bring tears to my eyes..loosing your baby when she moves out is the hardest..I remember that time..sending hugs to u my friend..The basket is beautiful and she will remember all those special moments of baking with u every time she uses those things..many Blessings to u both!!💜🙏🐇🥕

Man, our kids have sure grown up!! I have always thought getting those practical items is a great idea. My parents and grandparents did that for me too. Definitely a money saver when they do move out.

I love these ideas for her she's going to love it! I jus started using the torch pens myself I love them, haven't tried the paste yet but I'd like to. I saved the galaxy link, can't afford it now but it'd be great for in the near future, I may even get one for myself too help me sleep at night😊have a happy Easter
