So those who understand what he was actually saying that was apparently disrespectful, what was it?
It wasn't disrespectful at all, it was more like a cool rock'n'roll introduction. He basically said:
"You didn't come here to listen to my speech and I didn't come here to give a speech, I'd much rather play for you, so ladies and gentleman, beware! I'm about to fucking destroy!"

Completely different style of slap bass than Marcus Miller. I'd say that his style of playing is more similar to Mark King's than Miller's. I understand how you could make that comparison, but Miller uses a lot of double-thumbing in his playing and Wojtek relies more on a double percussive style of playing,'which MK made famous.
@ Kevin Yeah Wojtek's not using doublethumbing at all right? Kinda hard to see. It's just. That fast. Using double percussive thumbing. It just seems impossible.
I guess it wasn't disrespectful, just a bit unfortunate choice of words....proved the point though ;) i.e. definitely didn't come to talk!
