Giveaway comments should *not* be left on this video but on the giveaway video itself. Good luck ;-)
Caddx is way sharper, but tons and tons of jello.. Runcam is soft but no jello...
Damn ... why choices have to be so hard..
Haha :-) I think that most of the jello was caused by the mount and on the micro version of the Loris Caddx include an ND filter in order to reduce it.
Fantastic flying, testing and comparison, Gal! 😃
Particularly, I like a lot the Caddx HD recording... It seems flatter and with more wide dynamic range... But the FPV feed from the RunCam is much better! That's a difficult choice. 😕
Anyway, stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Yes, can't win them all I guess.
Thanks Mario, take care buddy.
Caddx clearly wins in HD during the day. At dusk it becomes unusable due to poor exposure choice, while runcam handles it decently. Adding the vastly better fpv in runcam it's overall winner IMO
RunCam is the winner.
fpv the same shit
The Run Cam looks better in low light
Personally I like the runcam colors better and it looked like there was some jello in the caddx
Runcam overall. Caddx definition...may be over sharpened.
Is this for dji
Nope. Both analog split
Overall I prefer the Runcam it was the fpv feed quality that sold it for me
really too bad that there is only 20 sec of FPV view as it is mostly the biggest factor of comparison between the 2 cams!
I just cancelled my runcam spilt 4 order cause the fpv feed looked bad in other reviews. But it looks good in your flights.
Jello in Caddx loris?
It was caused by the mounting option but as far as I can tell this camera is more prone to jello (an ND filter can help).
Colours look better on the Split in the 1080p clips. Caddx had quality control issues on some early products, I have always used RunCam Splits since they were invented, the Caddx is more expensive too.
at first i thought the runcam loked better, but as the video went along, i gotta say caddx looks alot brighter so i'd go with caddx
In terms of color, I like runcam
Run cam is very better.
Runcam wins in this one. Caddx fpv on this one looks washed out at times
for runcam 4k how to deal with jello videos when it's hot
Overall I prefer the Runcam. But I could easily fly with the caddx with some tweaks. Both looked good to me. 🤓
Jello on the Caddx that I don't see on RunCam on the sunny day. Caddx looked better on overcast day.
Thanks for your input.
Got to go run cam on this one 👍
Yeah @MC's Creations +1 , but you can color grade the Loris footage to match punchier colors
runcam because 1. better fpv feed. 2. cheaper ftw
The Runcam seems a bit too blue, the caddx, as usual, has to much reds. Overall i like the sharper image of the caddx better :)
but wobling... i mean the runcam is better - or soft mount the caddx
Ooohhhh so close its hard to choose fpv looking pretty good on the runcam but hd on caddx maybe
The picture quality looked better on the Caddx but I didn't like the jello... Might need to be tuned. Maybe the Runcam would have worse jello if the quad was tuned to Caddx?
There isn't a specific quadcopter tune for each camera.
In my experience, the Loris is just more prone to jello than other cameras, but the footage is really good when it's soft mounted properly on a well tuned quadcopter.
Nevermind read further in the description
The Cadex seems to have better dynamic range.
Both needed mic upgrade and btw caddx got vibrations but not runcam.
Runcam is better from my view.
Gal, what VTX are you using on this video ? and what Video type of video files the the Loris and Runcam create ?
Hola Amigo. I am using DVRs that are connected directly to the cameras in order to capture the HD footage.
As far as I can remember both cameras save the HD footage in mp4 formate but I need to double check it.
i see and pause your footage, i replay, finnaly i found caddx is jello in tree, runcam no jello. it's true?
The caddx seems to be more prone to jello as far as I can tell.
The Caddx have better colour.. more realist. look at the tree trunks if they are green with the runcam
Thanks for your input.
I like the run cam myself.
Nice ...
but where is the fpv feed comparison Gal ?
It's in the video ;-) (For example see 01:34).
Hi Gal Great video on this RunCam and Caddx cameras, first part I knowest was the sound of the RunCam out did the Caddx hands down. The video is Great on both of them, I was not Impressed with the night video on either one. Thanks for the video !
Thanks a lot buddy! It's always my pleasure.
For low light camera , check the FoXeer Micro Cat 2 , is the best Nite fly cam as of today for FPV

Hello!! Do you have jello on RunCam split 4?
It depends on the mount. When properly mounted I didn't notice a lot of jello.
Thanks for reviews, I guess focus of runcam split 4 have problem.
My pleasure. The Split 4 lens was properly focused when I tested it.
runcam looks alot better to me
Was it just me or the Caddx is more prone to "jello"? Also I gotta give it a go for the runcam colours, really pleasing to my eyes :)
I think this is because of the camera mount but i thought the same with this jello
Yes, in my experience it's more prone to jello.
👍👍 I like the caddx
Thanks. Loris is the winner in HD
in daylight is incomparable! But in FPV he loses.
I love the 2 difficult to choose
It looks like you're using a nd filter for your runcam while leaving the caddx without, why?
I didn't use ND filters in this test.
@@KremerFPV cool
not for dji
this is for analog;)
Yep :-)
What city is that Thanks!
Close to Tel Aviv
Nice flight footages. Runcam obviously has a better sound recording. Also colors look better to me on Runcam :). Caddx has jello may be because the way it is mounted.
Thanks. Yes, the mount is causing this issue but in my experience the Loris is more prone to jello, so you need to soft mount it properly and / or use an ND filter.
So have you done the giveaway yet?
Not yet.
Gal, have you tried a comparison between 4k30 and 4k60 on the loris? The difference is unbelievable.
Thanks for the suggestion Mark, I don't have enough time unfortunately to compare the two options at the moment...
Nice! The Loris FPV is like been blind. Overall I like it more except that occasionaly you have a bit of magenta color and sometimes the image gets darker. Loris for 4K and Split 4K for FPV
Thanks for your input!
Gday Gal, good flying great footage of both fpv camera's, the runcam has better colours but the caddx seems clearer you can see more detail but the colour on the caddx isnt as vibrant and why is the timer counter upside down on the caddx thats bazaar!!!lol, great comparison awsome job mate.👍🛸
Thanks mate!
The Caddx seems to have a lot of shivering in the recording, maybe an ND filter will help?
Yes it will reduce the jello.
pretty close in different conditions
thank you very much. Gal 👏👏👍👍👌🍺❤️
You're welcome :-)
Hi Gal, I prefer the runcam 4 but no 4K60 and the latency is 45ms Bad, the Lorris 4K60 but bad color and bad FPVview latency 40 at 45ms no good. 😥
Yes these are not racing cameras...
@@KremerFPV Sure 👍
Looks like the Loris has quite a bit better low light capabilities. Thanks for another great review.
Thanks for watching!
Hey, how do you reduce jello after flying?
You can use an ND Filter such as this one: bit.ly/CaddxLorisND16Filter
Sincerely now the runcam cameras quality image improved a lot, much love for image colors of runcam.
Thank you for the review.
Thanks Nuno!
thanks Gal
My pleasure :-)
Great comperiosion Gal ! There are little to non such unbiased compares online!
Thanks a lot bro!
Do they make an ND filter for this size lens? would be good for the Baby turtle as well. Seeing more jello on the Caddx which is a shame as image has lots more detail.
Yes, the Geelang Anger 85x comes with one: ua-cam.com/video/IFxFRwkAffY/v-deo.html
@@KremerFPV thank you but was thinking a filter that fits directly onto the smaller form factor lens.
Hi .. You have many clips and thank you for what you offer. I want the best camera with accessories, whether it is connected on the phone or on another screen ... The most important thing is to be clear and there is no long distance blanking.
Hi, thanks.
You want to connect the camera directly to your phone?
If so - you need to get a web camera or an action camera that can transmit the video over wifi.
@@KremerFPV
Yeah . But how much is the distance for remote control
Thanks for zoom, nice comparison.
My pleasure!
Gal are you still up or did you get up early?
Had to wake up but I went back so sleep ;-)
Hello Gal! Your videos are awesome, thank you for your help.
Hi Dinho, thanks a lot!
Looks like the Runcam split 4 has its lens is out of focus.
Nope - it was properly focused.
@@KremerFPV Thanks for taking the time to answer. The image is all blurry and evidences a clear lack of sharpness. It's a shame. Thanks again.
Great video, Caddx definitely has more detail, and dynamic range.
Thanks!
Finally. I've been waiting this comparison. Thank you again. My pre-assumptions were confirmed. Loris has much more details and clearer image. But has same "issue/characteristics" of previous Caddx HD cameras. FPV view muddier/foggier and and jelly is present. Needs just right amount of dampening. Not too loose or too firm.
As compared to Turtle cameras colours became much warmer a even warmer than Session5. Luckily that can be fixed in post processing or even in camera settings.
As always - it's my pleasure.
Thanks for your input and support!
Thank you for this great test! :)
No problem!
Runcam 👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Thanks video 🙏🏾
Thanks for watching!
@@KremerFPV hy you can review Runcam Phoenix 2 JB 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 thx🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾
Great comparison! I think I'd get the Loris if I had to choose between the two.
Thanks for watching!
tnx for comparison :)
My pleasure :-)
Sadly, that crazy stretching of the Runcam image ruins it for me. I have never been a fan of SuperView, but this is _much_ worse!
For me personally, the dynamic range and light sensitivity are more important factors than overall pixel count. I would rather see a better quality HD picture than a lower quality 4K one, which is why (sadly) I will skip both of these.
Nevertheless, I _am_ delighted to see a true new generation in this weight class!
Thanks Gal, take care!
I appreciate your feedback. The FOV can be adjusted as far as I can remember (you can check it out in my full review of the Runcam split 4: ua-cam.com/video/t6anP8Tf76A/v-deo.html )
Useful data~👍👍👍
My pleasure!
Great video!
Thanks!
I'd say, put the lens of the Loris on the RunCam and test again >
Thanks for the suggestion :-)
I already have the Loris on the way, how's the latency? Is there much?
Enjoy your new camera.
About 40ms: ua-cam.com/video/oJ4zWy9AHNY/v-deo.html
Great Review Gal as always😁👍 No Competition in my book, The one with the shaky image looses straight away even if it has more detail in the video 😉
Thanks buddy!
The Loris is more prone to jello but it's great once it is soft mounted properly.
it's shaky because of the quad not the camera lol, you can solve the shake in the quad, you can't make up for the lack of detail in the camera
